My organization from Truman State University has held our annual retreat at the Lost Branch Lodge for the past 3 years, and we have always been extremely satisfied with our experience. The owners are friendly, and the lodge is very comfortable and spacious!
We've stayed at the Lost Branch Lodge for many year for our staff retreat. The facility is perfect for our needs. The location sets my crew at ease and helps them get away from everything. The facility is warm, welcoming, clean, and well provided for. The owner and property managers are great to work with and always show great kindness. We'll be back next year for sure!
Used the Lodge for a full day Leadership retreat. It is a perfect fit for our group. We have food catered in, but it is well equipped if a family or group wanted to do their own cooking.
We enjoyed a relaxing weekend at Lost Branch Lodge for our annual family reunion. It was great having bedrooms and bathrooms for the entire group. The lodge had everything we needed for accommodations, making meals as well as indoor and outdoor activities. It is such a peaceful and private setting, and only a short drive to Kirksville for provisions. We enjoyed bonfires by the lake, taking canoe rides, fishing and relaxing in the rocking chairs with our morning coffee. This was our first stay at the lodge, and we look forward to returning next year.
We had family members coming from various parts of the state as well as Minnesota, so this place worked perfectly for us. A little bit of everything to keep everyone occupied. Kitchen was fully stocked with pots/pans/utensils, etc - which was VERY helpful as well! Hope to be back again soon!
