About this property

It is a houseboat with a hull of 1929. At this time, a residential level was built on which I have completely refurbished and modernized in 2012.
From 2012 to 2019, I myself lived permanently with my wife on the houseboat.
Both in summer and in winter, the natural environment gives special charm that makes living on and on the water a unique experience.
Within walking distance is the outlet and the old town in Roermond easy to reach.

Herrlich!

Zum "relaxen" und "runterkommen" genau das Richtige. Liebevoll eingerichtetes Hausboot. Alles da was man braucht. Zum Outlet Center und in die Innenstadt nur wenige Gehminuten. Von der Terrasse traumhafter Ausblick auf die Wasser- und Tierwelt und auf Roermond. Vielleicht wichtig für andere Reisende/ Buchende: Schlafzimmer nur mit einem Vorhang vom Wohn-/Essbereich abgetrennt. Um ins andere ( Kojen ) Zimmer zu kommen, muss man durch das Schlafzimmer. War für uns aber kein Problem. Sonst war alles top! Empfehlenswert!

Wir haben es genossen

Toller Ausblick von der Terrasse auf's Wasser. Wir konnten viele Boote und auch größere Schiffe so wie viele Wasservögel beobachten, die auch direkt ans Boot kamen. Sogar schwarze Schwäne, die es eigentlich nur in Australien gibt. Kurzer Weg (15 min. zu Fuß) in die schöne Altstadt und ins Outlet. Gute Möglichkeiten für Einkauf, Schwimmen und Wassersport in der Nähe. Die Strände (auch der Hundestrand) sind kostenpflichtig. Das Boot macht innen einen guten Eindruck, so daß man sich gleich wohl fühlt. Im Detail müsste allerdings wieder mal etwas Hand angelegt werden. Auch von außen wäre eine Modernisierung angeraten, bevor das schöne Boot von der Witterung weiter beschädigt wird. Auf Fragen an den Vermieter gab es zügig Antworten. Alles in Allem hatten wir einen schönen Aufenthalt auf dem Hausboot.
