Each room is uniquely and thoughtfully decorated with eye-catching colors, the kitchen is stocked with anything you might need, and the rooms are furnished with everything you need to sleep like a baby.

-We are obsessed with cleaning, so the home will be spotless, guaranteed. We hate it when we stay at a house and it isn't perfectly clean, so our house will always be spotless when you arrive. We promise!

-The house is right next to I-49 and I-435, so getting around the city is a breeze

The house has a keyless, lock, so once we send you the code, you'll be able to get in and out with ease, and you won't have to worry about losing the key.

The house has three bedrooms and one bathroom.

The large yard is perfect for a game of catch or bocce ball.

The Neighborhood

Our neighborhood is quiet, with ordered, tree-lined streets. It's a great place for walks, the neighbors are friendly, and if the weather is nice, the back deck is a great place to unwind.

Getting around

The house is located next to two major freeways in Kansas City, so you can be anywhere in the city in about 20 minutes. There is bus service about 1 mile down the road. The house is a 45 minute drive from the airport, and 25 minutes from downtown.

Other Things to Note

The house is located about 1 mile from IHOP-KC, and about a 5 minute drive from the IHOP-KC University.

About Mark Mahan

My wife and I live in Kansas CIty with our two children. I own an internet retail business and spend a lot of time working from home. We love to travel and cook, and have stayed at many houses across the country. We were inspired to join the community and make our one house available to others. We travel a lot for business, and someday we would love to go back and visit Europe again. I'm an English major and she's a music theory major so we fit well together. I write the lyrics, she writes the melody, and the kids add their own harmony.

We loved this house, and when we moved out, we wanted to give other people the chance to enjoy it as much as we have. It is a very peaceful home and has many wonderful memories for us!

We fell in love with this charming house the first time we walked inside and sat in front of the huge picture window in the living room! The large deck is a perfect place to enjoy the Kansas City seasons, and the kitchen is light and open. It is situated on a beautiful corner lot, and the easy access to anywhere in the city made it a great place to live.

  • The bathroom is very clean and bright. It has a full tub and shower and pedestal sink. With lots of fluffy towels, and a hair dryer if needed.

  • King Room: has a king mattress with a memory foam topper, all nestled in a gorgeous white and crystal platform bed. It has beautiful custom lighting, and a 32 inch flat screen TV with ROKU. The decor is classic and whimsical! Queen Room: beautiful handmade oak bed with a queen pillow top mattress. The decor is colorful with a travel theme! Full Room: very comfortable full size bed. The decor is cheery and bright! Each bedroom has a clock with alarm, trash can, lamp and extra sheets. There is also a noise maker, night lights, and extra blankets if needed.

We recently went to K.C. for a girl's trip & stayed here. Mark the owner was quik to respond to any of my e-mails & questons. The home was comfortable & had everything that we needed for our stay. Nice beds, thick towels & great water pressure in the shower. Oh & let's not forget the special coffee from Italy!! We would stay here again!!

The house is one mile from two major highways, which allows you to be almost anywhere in Kansas City in about 20 minutes or less. There are many great parks and trails nearby. We love going on walks along the tree-lined trails, and cooling off at one of the nearby lakes. The Plaza and Westport are only 15 minutes away, and Downtown is about 20 minutes. The house is located less than a mile from IHOPKC.
