With spectacular views of the bay; you'll enjoy watching sailboats, lobster boats, kayaks and other watercraft along with osprey, blue heron, geese, the occasional seal wondering in from the Atlantic and other beautiful Maine wildlife.

A full service kitchen, along with an outdoor 5-burner gas grill provides all the amenities needed to prepare your favorite breakfast, lunch or dinner. We've even provided a 33-qt lobster kettle so you can prepare your own Maine lobster & clam feast (holds 8-12 lobster depending on size).

When you're not out enjoying Bowdoin College's live summer theatre, dining on Bailey's Island or shopping at the Freeport Outlets, stay in for the evening with a good book. Or, watch your favorite DVD on the 42' flat screen TV in the living room or the 26' flat screen TV (w/DVD player) in the Master Bedroom. Or, try your hand at night fishing off the dock during high tide. We upgraded with all new bedroom, living room, dining and kitchen furniture. Owners: Michael & Rhonda Boyett: We are both professionals working in the Healthcare industry. We love to travel and have visited many coastal areas (East coast, West coast & Hawaii) in the USA. We've successfully raised two children who are now college graduates and pursuing their own professional careers (Attorney & Nurse). We are originally from the east coast (Maine & Virginia) and moved to California in the 80's. We still have family in Maine and visit often.

Why Heather Allen chose Harpswell

My parents completed this spec home in 1992 after my father retired from the Navy. We fell in love with the place, visiting numerous times with our children during the '90's; fishing, going out on lobster runs with my Dad and just relaxing. My parents intention was to pass the property on to their kids. With my Dad's passing, Mom finally reached a point where she could no longer take care of the place alone. We purchased the property in the summer of 2009 as our second home. We have had numerous friends comment on how beautiful the property and area are and expressing a desire to stay. It was then we decided to offer it as a vacation rental so others could share in the beauty & tranquility of this place.

What makes this house unique

Quiet and away from the busy main streets of town but close enough (7-miles) for convenient access for food shopping nd other supplies. The neighborhood is extremely quiet and serene. The neighbors are friendly and very respectful of each others privacy. For us, this place offers a great escape from the day to day stresses of our jobs. This is one of the few places we have ever been that truly allows us to completely unwind and 'recharge'.

We came back to Maine (after 18-years) to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. Maine is where we met, got married and our youngest child was born. Thoroughly enjoyed re-visiting some of our favorite places like Maxwell's Restaurant in Bath.

To our hosts of this beautiful place, we say thank you and see you again soon. This place will be our first choice to reserve. Maine will always have a special place in our heart and your home just made it perfect!

We absolutely loved this spot! House was just as the pictures showed! We are planning to come back again because it is such a perfect spot, close to good restaurants, lots of history and so many beautiful things to do and see. LOVE LOVE

Great Rental House

We recently spent a week at this rental. I have rented many properties over the years and owned a rental property myself for several years. This property is by far the best equipped rental property that I have ever seen. Every detail, down to flashlights on the night stands, have been provided. The house was very clean and the furnishings were all in excellent condition. The deck has several chairs and a table with seating for four overlooking the cove. The view is outstanding, especially at sunrise and sunset. The kitchen is well equipped with a dishwasher, a large refrigerator and many of the condiments and paper goods you will need. A floating dock is also provided that is ideal for fishing or boating. The rental company, Your Island Connection, LLC, was very helpful and prompt delivering all necessary information. This is a property that you are sure to love and I would highly recommend.

We loved our stay at High View. Pictures don't do the property justice. It has everything to make your stay comfortable. It is also perfectly situated between Bath and Brunswick.

Great home in mid-coast area!

My family of three was very comfortable staying in this home while visiting Maine. The home is easy to drive to, has a great layout, and is large enough to host a large family dinner if needed. The views are great and the area seems very safe. We will definitely be coming back!
