No expense was spared. Both of the lower levels offer 3 additional master suites, den, and game room, (Competition Pool Table) with wet bar. Expansive views (as well as privacy) from any of the 5 decks, direct access to the beach catwalk in front of house.

Amazing Amazing Amazing!

The photos do not represent how great this property is. From the secluded private driveway, to the spacious rooms and the views - everything was spectacular. The house was perfect and clean, Todd - the owner was always available if we had any questions about the house, the beach or places to eat. It did not feel like the LBI that I had known since it was so private, but the kids could ride their bikes without us worrying, and all the things to do were just a short drive away, however the walk to Viking Village and lighthouse was not far at all. Highly recommend this property if you are one who appreciates the finer things in life.

Wonderful family vacation!

We had a wonderful family vacation in Barnagate Light. The house was beautiful--very well maintained with great views. The layout was perfect for a family vacation--large open common area and individual private suites with balconies when privacy was preferred. Definitely recommend!!

This was the perfect house for a great vacation with our extended family. Everyone had their space yet the upstairs main area of the home is setup perfect for gathering around and enjoying time together. It has a beautiful view of the ocean from inside the home and from the deck just off the dining/living room. The owner, Todd, is a joy to deal with and very responsive to any needs or questions you may have.The house itself is decorated tastefully with some recent upgrades. Everything is quality here. In no time at all you find yourself very comfortable, not wanting to leave.

We found the walk to the beach to be very enjoyable and unique. As you leave the house, you walk through a forested area and then on to the dunes. It is just beautiful! The beach was great too. We were there off season and pretty much had the beach to ourselves. We were surprised to be able to get in the ocean .... it wasn't nearly as cold as we thought it would be! We will definitely try to book this house again even off season. Our family expressed that this was a "dream vacation"! Thank you Todd!

Great retreat for a family getaway

Barnegate Light is at the end of LBI and a very quiet area which is lovely if you are looking for a beach vacation without all the stores/shops/etc that are down at the other end of the island. Todd, the owner was incredibly responsive throughout our entire stay. The house was clean and nicely decorated. All the bedrooms were comfortable and had blankets and pillows which was a nice touch so we didn't have to bring a ton with us. Overall the house was very comfortable and a great time away! Thank you Todd!!

Nice experience overall

I got this house sight unseen for the first time and I was very nervous. Todd the owner was attentive and reassuring through the whole process especially the first couple of days - there were a couple of issues that he addressed them right away. He even picked up a new Keurig for the coffee drinkers and a blender to make smoothies!!!

The house is exactly as it appears in the pix. There are some signs of wear beginning to show that can be easily corrected but no real show stoppers. The kitchen is stocked well but needs some things like new knives, a new set of nonstick pans - things that only a snobbish cook like me would miss. :-)

That said, the pool table was an absolute hit! Everyone found themselves playing at some point. As others have said, it is a 5-7 minute walk to the beach - there's a brand new wooden pathway that makes it easier than having to trek all the way on sand - but if you have older folks, it might be a tad difficult. A brand new elevator was recently installed which enabled my parents to be with the family no matter what floor we decided to be on. It also goes a long way when you have luggage and groceries.

I particularly like the top floor living space with the wall of glass which makes it feel bigger. We were about 10 adults, three teenagers and one infant - others came for the day and yet even when we were all in, we never felt crowded.

Overall, a relaxing and enjoyable vacation. I'd recommend to a friend for sure.
