The Round House is fully furnished with all the comforts of home and is conveniently located just one mile from Camden Harbor, and a stones throw away from swimming and kayaking on the Megunticook River's Shirtail Point Park. Some of it's amenities include a private fishing dock and expansive back deck to enjoy your morning coffee and evening cocktails. Close to restaurants, shops, golf, sailing, skiing, and of course, the mountains and the sea.

Had another great week

Having been there before, we knew what to expect and were very pleased. Understanding it was due to poor weather in New England, the only downside was the broken dock and inability to launch our kayaks quite as conveniently. Knowing this ahead of time would have helped us plan a little better.

Perfect Maine getaway

Nice accommodations for for two couples. We especially liked the Great Room for family time and the large poarch for relaxing.

Wonderful location

The setting was lovely, with the river at the bottom of the property. Lots of things were provided that often are not: aluminum foil, garbage bags, paper towels, napkins, etc. The house itself is quirky--getting to the lower level bedroom is via an extremely steep staircase, with a very low overhead. If the stove, the lighting, and especially the toilets were improved, a stay would be more comfortable.
