Cedar Breaks - An Area of stunning beauty and a resort that lives up to high expectations!

  • 5 of 5

This is the perfect base for exploring the stunning scenery of the area. The Aspens were just taking on their golden color and gave what seemed almost to be a "twinkling" within the forest. The studio offers a great view and is part of a resort that offers a wonderful restaurant, two over sized spas and a great pool. The bed is super comfy, the unit stocked with plenty of towels, coffee, and more kitchen items than you might expect for a kitchenette. You won't regret booking this one! The star of service at this resort is Lacey!

So comfortable after a long day of snowboarding

  • 5 of 5

I am pleased to say that the studio looks much larger in person than it does in the photos. It is also much brighter in person as well! My brother was able to cook pasta one night and steak and potatoes the next night in the kitchenette! The only thing that was a bit small was the kitchen sink but it served it's purpose just fine.

Cedar Breaks has a wonderful cafe that is open a few hours every day. Go see the barista extraordinaire for an amazing cappuccino. We also had breakfast in the restaurant and were pleasantly surprised by a minimalist menu and delicious food. The spa/hot tub/pool/sauna area is beautiful when the sun is out because of the gigantic windows but still lovely to retreat to in the evenings for some relaxation.

The property is great. It's condition is even better than shown in the pictures.

We love it! And looking forward to come back in the future.

One very minor thing is that the shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner are not provided. We had to ask the resort staff for it, gladly they gave us without any issue.

Was OK

  • 3 of 5

We were of the impression this would be a studio type condo. Instead, it was more like a motel room with limited kitchen capability. The room had no easy chair or couch, so we had to sit on the bed to watch TV. The kitchen sink was very small, making it very difficult to wash dishes adequately. We had to improvise the stop for the sink drain to keep water in. The coffee maker gave us some problem (handle pulled away from the decanter causing spillage).

Bed was comfortable. The price was good , but that was probably largely due to it being off season. The town itself had nothing to offer this time of year (early OCT - again b/c it was off season) the use of the pool and hot tub was OK, but awkward since it was in a different building than that with our lodging.

Overall OK though, b/c we were there to visit the national parks and spent little time in the room. Customer service was good.

amazing views

  • 5 of 5

Roger was the consummate host, we had an issue and not only did he take care of it, he gave us an extra night. I would highly recommend this room for.a long weekend. It is an over sized resort room with a stove top, refrigerator and microwave. It also has a jetted tub, couples beware! You won't want to leave after a very romantic weekend. We are looking forward to going back in the winter to admire the view with snow all over it. The town was a nice place to visit and we enjoyed Guido's pizza. The counter staff at the resort was very friendly.
