well priced, fully equipped, good location, attentive manager

This is a great deal! It had everything we needed for our short stay. Danielle, the manager, was very accommodating and helpful with all our needs. We booked this unit for a few days with our 5 and 1 1/2 yr olds. The owner was kind enough to give us a play pen and an inflatable mattress which worked out great!

The complex has private parking, 2 pools and a hot tub. But the only catch is that those are on the highest levels. Having 2 small children, we had to go up a few flights to access them, which wasn't that big of a deal.

The complex is in Turtle Cove, just a couple of blocks from the marina and another couple of blocks from the beach and access to Smith's Reef. We rented a car and were literally within 10 minutes of everything (Grace bay, chalk sound, the IGA supermarket and other popular places)

I highly recommend it, specially if you are in a tight budget.

This place is perfect for two people Start with the balcony and ocean view. doesn't get any better than this . There are two pools one heated and one not. Also a hot tub is available Steve the owner is great to work with and does whatever he says he will do Can't ask any more from him. Tina is very good has lived in TCI for many years and will orient you to the place and The surroundings. The place is clean modern and the best part it's located in building 2 on the second floor great.view great view and there is an elevator that brings you up from the garage to the second floor. Very important with luggage and groceries some units do not do this. There are 5buildings and some offer no view stick to the second or third floors Their security is excellent. Please read the article about crime and safety when you google TCI must read for everyone who visits Thw wifi and TV worked great Steve provides snorkels for two but bring your own masks if you like to do this There are two areas close to the resort Smith s Reef and Coral gardens free snorkeling everything from turtles and a large variety of fish Bring a umbrella that sun is very warm he has provided new beach chairs if you rent chairs are 10$ and umbrellas 20$ if you stayed like me for two weeks like I did that can add up To buy Umbrellas and chairs there it is expensive 110$ for umbrellas and 71$ for an inexpensive folding chair. Places to go. Fish fry on Thursday evening fun time Don't miss it it's at the children's park not far from the resort. Then there is Chalk Bay don't miss it. Call ahead to Las Brisas resort and see if the pantoon boat is going out that day ,they need at least 4people or more to go out It runs around 70$ but I felt it was worth it Alder and the captain were great This color of the bay is so beautiful Oprah and Bill Gates own places here ,they could live anywhere in the world. Now where to eat on TCI there are some good restaurants right in Turtle Bay. It depends what you want to eat remember add on to the bill 20percent more for taxes and then some for the tip One place Mango Reef was the one of the best near the resort good food and reasonable and your at a marina try there escargot try 6classic and then 6 in cream garlic sauce great. Then there is the Tiki Hut for ribs and one French Restaurant in Regent Sq call Le. Bouchon du Village. Some fine dishes there great young French chef and wife run it and you will need a reservation at night but not for lunch!🌴👍😎

Everything we expected. Close to Grace Bay beach and restaurants. Wifi was in and out and lost it completely the last three days.

Perfect spot for us

  • 4 of 5

My husband and I traveled to TCI to learn to scuba dive with Dive Provo, a terrific experience. Our studio suite was perfect for us. It was very quiet, perhaps because the building is concrete. We didn't hear the people above, below or beside us. The keyless entry was so keys or cards to worry about! The suite was very clean and spacious. The kitchen had good quality appliances, granite counter tops and plenty of crockery, cookware for the 2 of us. The bathroom had a nice sized walk in shower. There were plenty of closets but I would suggest bringing your own hangers if you have clothes you would like to hang up. There weren't any chest of drawers so we kept our clothes in suitcases for the 10 days. The covered verandah with comfy rattan furniture was wonderful for morning coffee and an evening beverage. The sliding glass doors are heavy without handles on the outside. Although we didn't have an ocean view, we enjoyed the breeze and the palm trees. There is partial view of the parking lot. We weren't bothered by bugs, but we had been warned and had insect repellent readily available. The A/C and over bed fan, kept the suite temperature comfortable. There were a number of restaurants,on the water, in Turtle Bay, a brief walk away, that we frequented and enjoyed. We stocked up on basics from the IGA, a 30 min walk/5 min drive away. There was security staff present, but we felt safe regardless. The safe in the room wasn't working....batteries likely needed replacing. There was easy access to great snorkeling from the beach a 5-10 min walk from the suite. We rented a car for part of the holiday, so we could explore and found my favorite restaurant, Bugaloos, on the beach, which provides live music at lunch. The pool area offered a pretty view of the ocean and was a quiet place to read. The hot tub is very small....big enough for 2, and when not already occupied, was a nice spot to relax in the evening. There was a problem with accessing the TV channels, which didn't get resolved during our visit, so we watched Netflix instead. The tranquility, location, affordability and quality of Vista Azul are why I can't wait to come back next year.

Excellent Spot at a Reasonable Price

  • 5 of 5

First time in Provo and loved it. I won't repeat what the previous 3 or 4 reviews say as we agree with the majority of what was said in the posts regarding the studio. Stephen was excellent to deal with, quick to respond all the way through and was helpful for the one or two little issues that came up, we couldn't figure out the TV remotes and once the correct TV source was discovered, no issues. Danielle, the manager, was excellent to deal with, available, knowledgeable, and genuinely interested in the quality of the stay. Had a small issue with the door lock and she was very helpful. Turned out to be a sticky number so check that first if you have troubles with the lock. We arrived to find a lot more supplies than other reviewers have noted like paper towel, toilet paper, soap, spices etc so perhaps this is hit and miss. Unlike the last review we did not have a huge issue with mosquitos, a few buzzing around but you are in the Carribean. We cooked in for a lot of meals as the restaurants are very pricey and the unit had the basics but everything you need. Oven and microwave work fine and a full size fridge is great. Of note, some other VRBO reviews mention a communal BBQ at La Vista Azul however we discovered there was a recent "incident" with the communal bbq and it has been removed with no replacement. Individual units are not allowed a deck bbq so you will have to plan around that. Location of the unit is great, very central and the access to a lot of things is good. We had a rental vehicle and used it everyday for trips to other beaches and some dining etc.

Bottom line is would stay at this studio unit again in a heartbeat. However we did see a very nice house on Sapadillo Bay for only $1100.00 US a night???
