About Erica K.

An entrepreneur by nature, I have enjoyed the freedom and flexibility that a self directed path can provide. I have loved to travel and annually embark upon both a beach vacation and an exotic destination in a far away continent - you will find exotic mementos from my travels adorn El Milagro and inspire the eclectic sampling of the world within. Growing up in Tucson and feeling a connection to this style of architecture/ property, I wanted to name my special Casa to honor my connection to the heritage of the house, hence the name El Milagro - which means The Miracle of the Neighborhood - a miracle to own a home, a miracle this place has stood 135 years - a miracle of light and laughter within---. While home in Tucson, I love to landscape, You will see me working on my properties tending to the mesquite trees, Peruvian apple cactus a native willow or assisting guests at El Milagro and other homes. I have always enjoyed cooking - entertaining friends and family and hosting many social events, and look forward to hosting you during your stay in Tucson!

Adorable Adobe

  • 4 of 5

This was a fun little house for our family to hang out in during the UA graduation weekend. Not far from campus, enough room for each of us to spread out, and the backyard was perfect for morning coffee. Erica's attention to detail made it even more comfy. I do recommend your earplugs for the nearby train whistle!

Hidden Gem

  • 4 of 5

This house was so great and quaint. Overall, it was really a fantastic stay.

The only minor issue was the train passing. We went and got ourselves some earplugs and then it was a non- issue. Close to the freeway and many key spots. Thank you!

Amazingly Charmingly Wonderful!!!...

  • 5 of 5

Loved this charming adobe home! Loved everything about it! Great central, convenient location, no trouble finding the place because we had awesome directions from Erica. Parking no issue whatsoever!

The kitchen was so well equiped with everything anyone would need, that was great! Beds very comfy.

We relaxed and had coffee every morning in the lovely yard, also a barbecue for one supper. We took advantage of Erica's suggestions for Italian restaurants and were not disappointed. Many magazines available full of info.

There were lots of train whistles...did not bother any of us one bit!

How nice was it for the host to leave us a bottle of wine and chocolate? Pretty amazing!

Only regret is we did not stay longer! Would stay here again in a heartbeat....Already thinking of returning in the fall.

One other thing to mention how extra wonderful a host Erica is...my granddaughter left behind her precious little "Hatchimal" toy and Erica immediately took care of mailing of it to us!

Thankyou so much Erica for everything.

Super charming historical adobe house!

  • 5 of 5

The owner, Erica, could not have been more helpful! She was our own personal concierge about Tucson happenings and events.

The house is darling and the backyard garden is huge and very charming. Multiple areas to sit-decorated as cute as the house. Really a winner!

Tucson = great family destination!

  • 4 of 5

We had a great week in this super cute, centrally located home!

Comfortable, homey, and the kitchen and yard are gorgeous.

-This was a family vacation - ages 10 to 85. House fit us nicely.

-When we arrived, the neighborhood surprised us, but once we settled in, we enjoyed the centrality of it and it was quiet.

-The owner is SUPER nice and attentive.

-Unfortunately, the neighborhood sewer was being worked on when we were there, so we couldn't sit outside much during the day due to the noise.

-We loved the homey feel, the restaurant suggestions, the decor, the books. It all felt right.

-One suggestion. In the two additional bedrooms (not the master) there is really no room to put possession downs - suitcases, towels, bags, toiletries, etc. A bit of closet space or a hook or something would have been welcomed.

Thanks!

Homey with wonderful backyard spaces.

  • 4 of 5

The host was wonderful and was immediately available to handle any concerns that arose. The three areas that could stand improvement would be installing a functional mirror in the common bathroom, "refreshing" the outdoor furniture pads as they are quite deteriorated, and finally removing some of the decorative accesories. While the home is nicely decorated all these accessories cut into the available shelf and storage space.

Great location.
