Beautiful, well appointed and maintained home!
Dan is a shining example of how all VRBO renters should be. He is a proactive communicator who made our experience hassle free and very enjoyable. It was great not to have to worry about bringing things like trash bags, soap, linens, beach chairs, boogie boards and paper towels. Our car was not loaded to the hilt, which made the 11 hour trek much more pleasant. The house was clean, beautifully decorated had everything we needed.
Additional details worth mentioning :
— The beach has lots of room and privacy. Vehicles are allowed on the beach but they didn’t interfere with our experience.
— Ample supply of both bath and beach towel-we loved that
— bathrooms could use a few more washable, absorbant throw rugs to help control moisture.
Great Beachfront House!
This property was exactly as it is portrayed in the pictures online. It was a great house for our family get together and the views of the beach from the windows and the back deck are awesome! It was very comfortable for our entire family and although half of the week we had rainy weather, the living room area had enough space for all of us to play many different board games!! I would definitely think about renting this property again and highly recommend it to other families who want to rent an upscale home right on the beach!!
Beautiful Well Stocked Beach House!
We rent a beachfront Amelia Island house every summer for our three kids, spouses and families, and this is definitely the most well-thought out. Everything you need is there and everything is so nice. Loved the big garage area with rubber mat on the floor for the kids to play. Loved the warm outdoor shower to clean kiddos along with the fenced in area for them to play. Cool downstairs bedroom is by itself and off the garage, large private master upstairs, well stocked kitchen and nice porch to rock and watch the ocean. American Beach is interesting - we loved the beautiful beach and the only days the vehicles were an issue was on the weekend when it is definitely a lot. The neighborhood is emerging with some really nice houses and some not so nice but it honestly was not an issue at all for us - this house is by itself and lovely. And we LOVED having a code to get in all the exterior doors - easy for multiple people to lock and unlock with no keys! All in all a wonderful beach home!
Words Cannot Describe
Our family is just in love with this property and location. We have come for several years a view this vacation as a home away from home. The property manager is gracious and very accommodating, so much so we view him as a friend. We would stay forever if we could.
Loved The View
Loved the home and the view. Only problem was I did not realize you had to go outside to get to the fourth bedroom. Overall enjoyed the stay.
Beautiful beach house. Only steps away from the beach! Relax on the deck and watch the ocean. Home is beautifully decorated. Highly recommend this home for a nice relaxing beach vacation!!!!

Every year the Ritz of Amelia Island hosts the Concours d' Elegance which is the largest car show in the eastern United States.
The 12 mile by two mile island offers numerous golf courses, horseback riding on the beach, kayaking along with trails for jogging, running and biking.
The island is one of the oldest settled sites in America and offers town and ghost tours. The oldest bar in Florida, the Palace Saloon, offers evening entertainment along with numerous other bars, such as Amelia Tavern, and several restaurants ranging from waterfront fine dining, to French, Italian, Asian and Mexican restaurants. There are many seafood restaurants on the oceanfront to enjoy the locals catch of the day.
Nearby are several restaurants, Pogo's Kitchen, Lagniappe Restaurant, the Salt (located at the Ritz), Bar Zin, Cucina South, Verandah, , Baxter's and Parkway Grill are all located in under a mile away. Two personal favorites are Lagniappe for fine dining and for causal dining, spanish food at Cantina Louie.
