About the property

House, 4 Bedrooms, 3.5 Baths, Sleeps 10

Hale Mahina is a lovely beach home located on a pristine, secluded white sand beach that can only be accessed by a few houses on the property, or by boat. Everywhere you look is the sparkling ocean. Wake up each morning to a glorious sunrise to start your day. The sound of the ocean fills the whole house which gets a gentle breeze most of the year.

The house is two stories, the main level is above the garage so it overlooks the ocean. The hot tub sits up against the lush green mountain and is a great place to relax and enjoy the spectacular view. Don't be surprised if you see giant sea turtles swim up to say hello. You can let the rest of the world melt away in this little piece of heaven.

The home is one of the first built in Lanikai. We've kept the original look but updated it with hardwood Ohia floors, granite counters in the kitchen, and new lighting throughout. This is a very special home in a unique location. Lanikai is a highly sought after subdivision of Kailua.

Incredible property.

The view of the twin islands and the blue water is incredible. We loved the private beach. We really enjoyed the Kailua area and hope to return soon

Paradise!

  • 5 of 5

Trust me, when you're sitting out on the patio in the morning with fresh coffee and that turquoise ocean view, you'll know you've made the right decision. Our family has been to many top-rated places and this one for sure will be on top of our favorite list....can't wait to go back. Gina was extremely sweet and helpful. Thank you for making it happen. :)

CAN WE LIVE HERE FOREVER?!!

  • 5 of 5

Perfect. Idyllic. Peaceful. Serene. Paradise. Beautiful beach. Constant breezes and sounds of the ocean. Postcard views from where ever you look. Breathtaking sunrises. Every modern convenience. Comfortable beds. Spacious and roomy.

From the moment we drove onto the property my family was shocked at how beautiful it was. We jumped out of the car and immediately started taking pictures of the breathtaking scenery. Sadly, our daughter dropped her phone right into the ocean! I contacted Gina and she came over right away with a bag of rice. What a sweetheart she is. She was so kind and helped us set up kayaks( so much fun) , grocery delivery ( which was all put away in the kitchen when we arrived, such a treat) and a private Chef for our 30th anniversary. Highly recommend it...The dinner was amazing! Gina also helped us set up a photographer to take our family pictures and we are so pleased with the results! She even offered for us to take our pictures on another beautiful property. She is so friendly and gracious.

This home is exactly as the pictures show. The views are real. We spent so many hours relaxing and enjoying the tropical breezes and beautiful views. We did head into Honolulu a couple times, and went to a luau, but truly our time was best spent on the beach and the two Lanai's.

Rent this beautiful home, you won't be disappointed. It was a huge splurge for us and we don't regret it a single bit.

What an Amazing place!

  • 5 of 5

My family and I (8 adults, 2 young children) Stayed here recently and I am so happy that we did. Choosing a home, right on the water, with a private beach, beats Resorts in Hawaii hands down. The rooms and decor were lovely and totally embraced the island feel and serenity. The host arranged for us to have a stocked Fridge and pantry upon arrival (must do) and a rental company to drop of paddle boards. We spent the days on the beach and in the water or walked into town and the other public beaches. My husband and I swam over to the islands in the pictures, which was great with the snorkel gear and flippers the house already had. There are 2 other homes in the private gated area and we are considering doing a larger family event here in the future. Loved it and totally recommend to stay here.

Paradise

In search of the perfect spot for the family vacay to celebrate a special birthday, we found it in Hale Mahina!!!!!

The house is a classic and so charming. The location is amazing and private. The pictures are exactly what you will experience. Private beach with chairs and toys makes beach days incredibly relaxing. Paddle board drop off on property also makes life easy peasy for you to enjoy the calm bay and Lanikai coast line.

Gina is an amazing property mgr and her assistance is invaluable in making your stay the best. We utilized the car rental agency also and we would highly recommend.

Our family cannot wait to return to this special relaxing vacation spot.

Aloha!!!

spectacular property!

I am a Chaminade grad- so visit Hawaii frequently as we have a number of friends on Oahu- this time, decided to rent a beach house- and 3 other couples, who had never been to Oahu- joined us for a week... Last year when we visited and stayed at the Kahala hotel, we had checked out the house just to make sure it was as advertised- and so when we showed up we knew what to expect, a picture perfect house with breath taking views- our friends were overwhelmed- some of them spent several hours a day in the 'living room" drinking in the panoramic view of the Mokulua's right offshore- many of us spent evening hours on the top lanai- or down closer to the beach on the lower one... the "master " bedroom is superb... woke up and sent to sleep every morning to awesome views... the house fit 8 of us very comfortably- spacious kitchen- we had a catered meal one night ( recommend Island Fusion unhesitatingly) and we fit 13 of us very easily , together with chef et al... aside from the cannot be beat views, the location is very private- the beach, while not large- is shared only with one other house- and the water sports opportunities are varied- we ocean kayaked and also did an outrigger trip to the 'Moks"... highly recommended.. neighborhood is delightful, lovely walk to Kailua Beach park which is not at all crowded on weekday-s- spent much time sightseeing and playing tour guide for my friends- so for those of you new to Oahu- hiking Diamond head, hiking to Makapuu light house and snorkeling at Hanauma Bay are must do's- and a day trip to the North Shore and Haleiwa highly recommended. Overall, the house was spotless, extremely comfortable- and I simply defy you to find better views virtually anywhere. Gina was very helpful pre- trip with suggestions- and while we had no issues or problems at all, I am certain she would have handled them promptly... We will surely be back- just cannot imagine a better place for several couples and/or families... Mahalo, Gina for sharing this incredible home with us!!!
