Clean, well equipped & great location

This house was great. It was exceptionally clean, well equipped and comfortable. The instructions re what was available at the house and what to bring were really useful. Although no sea view, the location was brilliant - 2 minutes walk to the beach and less than 10 minutes to the main street. The only small negative was little space in the bedroom for bags etc. But overall - fantastic!

Beautifully kept and comfortable place

Everything had been thought about, right down to the laundry basket and all toiletries and other needs such as biscuits and washing liquid etc.

Such a beautiful spot and the house was spotless and really felt like a home away from home

Perfect accommodation in a perfect location!

Calypso has everything holiday accommodation should have; it is clean, well appointed, secure, beautifully decorated and has ample space for a family of five. Staying here we found there was no need to get back into our car for the week, being mere footsteps from the gorgeous Horseshoe Bay, a very short stroll to the delights in the main hub of Port Elliot (the delicious bakery being particularly close!) and the train station at the end of the street where we could get to Victor Harbor or Goolwa on the Cockle Train. We have stayed at Calypso for many years now and hope to continue our stays for many years to come!

Excellent location

Calypso is an excellent location with only a 2 minute walk to horseshoe bay and the flying fish cafe. Accommodation always clean, well provided for and very comfortable. Separate entrance to the property is a bonus. Owners always

available but rarely needed. Always happy to come back.

Fantastic!

I had such a great stay at Calypso for my birthday weekebd. The unit was very clean and modern, the beds are very comfortable! The house is metres away from the beach so it has amazing views and is also a less than 5 minute walk to the main street. Wendy was always prompt and friendly when answering my emails and questions. Would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing place to stay on their beach holiday!

When we purchased Calypso it was chosen as it was across the road from beautiful Horseshoe Bay and while it does not have views from the windows of the home it has the advantage of being on the ground floor without stairs making it accessible for older guests, children etc. Calypso is in close proximity to all of the attractions of Port Elliot and is just 50m to the Flying Fish café. All of our homes are spotlessly clean and well maintained for our guests' comfort. We also pride ourselves in offering good old fashioned service including 24 hour telephone support. We look forward to the opportunity of accommodating you again!

On ground level without stairs it is ideal for young families, older guests or those who prefer to keep their feet on the ground! Why not follow the rugged cliff around the coast and explore the little bays and beaches. Horseshoe Bay has been a favoured destination for visitors to the Fleurieu Peninsula for a long time come and experience this very popular destination.

The Strand

Wander the Strand and you will find yourself moving in and out of craft shops, old buildings and cafes. At the end of The Strand is the mighty Southern Ocean and a viewing point over the beautiful Horseshoe Bay. This is a great spot to view the passing Southern Right Whales in the Winter.

Specials pricing is based on a 1 br (queen) stay for up to 2 guests. Addnl rooms extra.
A security bond of AUS$300 applies to all bookings as your promise that you will look after the property at all times during your stay. The security bond is payable by bank transfer, cheque, money order or credit card (by completing a form) at our discretion.Parties & gatherings not permitted.

A deposit is required within 48 hours of receiving your booking package which is usually emailed to you. The balance is due in full 30 days before arrival.
Payments on Easter and Summer school holidays bookings are non refundable and payments are due on the due dates in your emailed booking package.

The single bedroom has one single bed with room also for a cot for baby. There is also a bedside table and wardrobe with hanging space. The beds all have cosy quilts/duvets and extra blankets are provided for your comfort. All bedroom linen is provided in your tariff, for longer stays multiple sets are provided.
