Wonderful family house fully furnished with all the amenities that you would expect in your own home. Built in 1904 and beautifully restored. Home has nice architectural details such as original plaster moulding, heart-pine hardwood floors, french doors opening to a wonderful porch where you can sit and enjoy a cup of coffee and experience new orleans like a new orleanian !!! Charming home in a classic neighborhood that is convenient to so many attractions such as Audubon park/zoo/golf course/tennis courts. The st. charles ave. street car is a short 3 block walk. Historic Magazine st. is only 6 blocks. Very convenient area with easy access to uptown (Tulane & Loyola universities), carrollton/riverbend, downtown/warehouse district & the historic garden district and french quarter. Hundreds of restaurants within a few minutes. The bedrooms are independent (THIS IS NOT A SHOTGUN HOUSE) and there is a sofa bed which allows for 2 more to sleep (house sleeps 6 total). washer/dryer is inside for your convenience. Home has a fully equipped kitchen with all appropriate cooking utensils, microwave, coffee pot and blender.

My husband and I have been married for 10 years and have 3 young children, 6 yrs.,4 yrs., and 1 yr. we have had the pleasure of staying in countless B & B's, VRBO's and cabins. This property is hands down a 5-star experience. All the sheets, towels, linens, pillows and kitchen equipment are brand new. The house is as clean as it can be and best of all, it is clutter-free. Simply elegant and not meant for the Bourbon Street Rebel Rouser. True New Orleans Architecture. Great location!,

5 days in New Orleans

Our family of 5 came to New Orleans for our granddaughter's Tulane graduation May 20, 2017. We rented the house primarily for its location which was close to the Tulane campus. It was perfect in many ways......clean, comfortable, well equipped in the kitchen, close to the trolley on St. Charles, charming in its details and perhaps best of all, a wonderful small grocery store right across the street which had most everything one would need and open 7 days a week!

The owner was very responsive to any questions and issues provided new bikes when it was discovered that the ones at the house were missing.

It is not likely that we will visit NO again but we can all highly recommend this home.

Very nice home in a great location. Features to enjoy - nice front porch with chairs to sit and relax, great, large yard... very comfortable, clean interior of the home - kitchen with modern applicanes and Keurig, two large bedrooms and two full baths. Location is a great benefit - very walkable area (a beautiful area to walk) - easy access to all area of New Orleans. Another benefit - nice market across the street from the home - very convenient.

Stayed here with the wife, baby and in laws. A great place for the family to stay...

Very comfortable and great location

We are a family of 5. The home is well furnished and kitchen well equipped. Outdoor patio and grill area with large yard makes for a great place to hang out for drinks and conversation. The home is spacious clean and very comfortable. The owner, Steve, was very responsive and came to the house within minutes to handle a small problem caused by the utility company. He is a great guy. We will definitely stay here again.

Beautiful home in Uptown NOLA. The house was very clean and had everything we could have needed. The location was very convenient and quiet. Could not have asked for a better place for my family's New Year's vacation .
