Costa Rei is a very cozy little sea resort in the south of Sardinia, where it is possible to practice many sports but also to simply enjoy a quiet restoring holiday on a beautiful white sand beach with crystal clear turquoise water that has nothing to envy to more exotic paradise resorts in the Caraïbiques.
You'll find bars, restaurants, supermarkets and some shopping facilities on the spot.
For your evening entertainment we suggest to slip down to Villasimius, a lovely little town full of life, restaurants, cocktail bars, discos .... only 15 km away from Costa Rei.
You must also know that Sardinia has much to offer also when it comes to exploring it. Its regenerating pristine and wild nature, its marvelous coastal sceneries, its gorgeous caves, its enchanting beaches … and all together the very interesting vestiges of the mysterious prehistoric Nuragic civilization and of the Punic and Roman times, spread all over the territory, offer the visitors a great choice of excursions on the land or by boat. As regards the Sardinian cities, Cagliari and Alghero above all are full of character and charm and deserve an accurate visit of the historical center.
Last but not least, Sardinia produces excellent wines and wonderful goat cheeses and proposes a very tasty and delicious cuisine, three more optimal reasons to roam the island. Just ask us what could please you and we’ll be happy to make you some suggestions of places to see around.

Why Mrs. Françoise Ohlmann chose Costa Rei
The owner is a Sardinian, the house belongs to his family since it was built, in the 70s. It is there that he spent most of his weekends and holidays in childhood and youth, as long as he still lived in Cagliari.
