The apartment is a fully furnished and fully outfitted serviced temporary residence apartment appointed with executive level furniture, elegant home furnishings/accents, state of the art electronics, luxurious linens and towels, and a very comprehensive kitchen, housewares, and cookware package. Our apartment is a luxury 2-Bedroom / 2-Bath apartment with a living room sleeper sofa located right in the heart of Washington DC near Gallery Place METRO - 3 Blocks from the Washington DC Convention Center and 3 blocks from the Verizon Center. It is walking distance to most major sights, museums, attractions, including the White House, and the National Mall.

Apartment: The apartment is located in a newer, modern high-rise building. It is a spacious 2-Bedroom / 2-Bath Executive Apartment Plus Den with living room sleeper sofa. It is a very large apartment at 1500 sq. ft. The in-apartment amenities include - over-sized picture windows, large closets, and track lighting. The quality of the furniture and housewares in our apartments is head and shoulders above our competition.

The gourmet kitchen has full size stainless steel appliances and granite counter tops. It has a built in microwave, as well as a full size dishwasher, gas range, and stove. The apartment also has a full size refrigerator with freezer and ice maker, pantry, in the kitchen and a full size washer and dryer in the utility closet

The Living/Dining Room is spacious with a full size sofa, easy chair, and coffee and end tables. The large dining table with 6 dining chairs seats 6 comfortably and there are 2 extra padded folding chairs located in the front hall closet. The sofa folds out to a very comfortable Queen sleeper.

The TV package includes expanded digital cable channels, all HD channels, plus Starz HD. The living room TV is a 42“ HD 1080i flat screen Smart TV, the bedroom TV is a 32” HD 720i flat screen, and the stereo plays iPhone/ iPod. The Living Room TV is internet accessible so you may watch your own Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, etc. The private in-apartment Wi-Fi is free of charge. The apartment phone system includes free nationwide long distance, local calling, and voicemail.

There is a King size bed in the Master Bedroom, a Queen size bed in the Second Bed Room, and a very comfortable Queen sleeper sofa in the Living Room. The mattresses are Double Pillow Top. The sheets are 400 thread count Egyptian cotton. Each bedroom has a very large closet. There are 2 full bathrooms with is a soaking tub in Second bath. There is also a small den with a writing desk.

Parking: Secured access underground parking at the property with secured apartment elevator access is $20/night per vehicle.

They are first-class amenities and services located on this property located at the Mt. Vernon Triangle at the Gallery Place METRO station, just blocks from the Washington DC Convention Center. There are spectacular views of the Washington Monument and The Capitol. The building is complemented by sleek design, upscale fixtures, high ceilings, rooftop pools and terraces with private garden retreats, and resort-style lounge areas along the D.C. skyline. The property has a fitness center, executive business center, and a grand club room/game room. The Executive Business Center has computer access, printer, copier, fax machine, and wireless service. The Capitol, K Street, Penn Quarter, Chinatown, Judiciary Square and Gallery Place are right outside your door. Walk to the Metro, shopping, sights, and restaurants. Three blocks from the Gallery Place METRO station. It's just minutes walking to Chinatown, the Verizon Center, the DC Convention Center, The National Mall, the White House, and trendy Gallery Place restaurants, clubs, shopping, and activities. There is a major Safeway supermarket located less than 2 blocks away and there is a CVS/Convenience Store located right across the street from building front door. A Café and a Subway Restaurant are located at the ground level of the property.

Each bedroom has either a dresser with mirror or a chest of drawers. We do have a Pack N Play and a a pillow-top, self inflate air mattress available based on request at an additional charge.

Fabulous property

Beautiful, comfortable, spacious apartment with a view of the capitol building. Very convenient location, within easy walking distance to the convention center, the Mall, museums, and restaurants. Fabulous place to stay if you are attending a convention. So close I was able to walk "home" every day to eat lunch. I highly recommend it.

Great Location! Quiet building

This apartment is in a great location for spending time in DC. On the popular Massachusetts avenue with plenty of great restaurants around and a quick Uber to Georgetown. Building is quiet and apartment is very spacious with adequate amenities to make it a turn-key trip.

Hosts are very prompt to take care of any details.

Perfect VRBO

Great property - we were totally pleased with it. First, the negatives:

Worst carpentry ever in the kitchen - you had to push drawers all the way to one side in order to get the dishwasher to close. Also, master bathroom fan sounded like a jet plane taking off. Very minor details!

Positives - too numerous to mention. $8 Uber ride from virtually any attraction in D.C. Safeway grocery store 5 minute walk away. 2 great bedrooms with first class bed, linens, etc. Attentive and helpful concierge service in lobby - really important since we had one bag lost by the airline and needed to make arrangements for delivery. Great workout facility on site. I could go on, but we were really pleased. Family of 4 used the unit, and the quality of the place made our stay very enjoyable.

Excellent for location, apartment, and amenities

I was very impressed with my stay. The apartment itself was very clean with nice furnishings and more than enough space for our family of four. It had everything we needed for our stay and meals at home. I loved the amenities - we used the pool every day with our kids and I used the gym twice. Everything we needed was in walking distance - CVS across the street, bakery downstairs, several restaurants within a block, etc. Most of the monuments/museums are less than a mile away, so that worked for the kids as well. Will definitely stay again the next time we are in DC.

Easy access to everything we needed

There were 5 of us traveling together. 4 fifty somethings and our 82 year old dad in his scooter. The property was wonderfully convenient and the location perfect. We cooked in multiple nights and loved the cookware, great quality. I would highly recommend the property.

Great Location in Modern Building

The building was large and modern with a lot of young, single hipsters. Even though we were a family of 4, with two teenage kids, everyone was nice and the building was clean and well maintained. The apartment was quite spacious with modern bathrooms and appliances in the kitchen. It was very clean with plenty of towels, supplies, and a pull out couch in the living room so the kids could sleep in separate rooms. The listing was accurate and the pictures actually reflect what the apartment looks like - no hidden surprises. The building was in a great location, easy walking distance from restaurants, shops, attractions and Metro station. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend to others.
