We have stayed in this cottage numerous times and have always had a great experience. The cottage is great for families especially with the large bedrooms and four bathrooms.
The owner is very responsive to anything that you need help with.

We Love Kiawah!
Our family has been to Kiawah several times when our kids were young. Now our kids are grown and we brought our kids and grandkids to Kiawah to make new memories.
Communication with the owner was good. We were originally booked in 2017 and our vacation was squandered by Hurricane Irma. Owners allowed us to rescheduled for this year.
We loved the short walk to Sparrow Pond pool, which is a smaller pool. The West Beach Pool was not open (Due to open May 20th) but we went to Night Heron Park which has two pools and the kids had a blast. Beach access is just past the small pool. We love the beaches of Kiawah. Not crowded. We were able to see some ghost crabs after dark and made the hike down the beach to look for the dolphins strand feeding, but they must not have been that hungry.
The construction was noticeable, but not too much of a distraction (although they do start early). The underside of the villa could have been a bit cleaner but wasn't terrible. Plenty of room for our 3 large vehicles and all the bikes. We had a faucet break and maintenance was there the same day to repair it. Kitchen is large with lots of counter space and well appointed. In general, our family thought the furniture could have been a little more comfortable. The master bedroom and bath are large and comfortable.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay and will definitely return to Kiawah again.
We are so sorry the housekeeping was not a 5 star standard. I hope you called them imediately as I indicated on your letter. Property management revealed the West Beach Kiawah Pool would be open May 1st. I will check with them again. I wish you would have called me before you wrote this review. I try to accomodate every one that stays. I hope you enjoyed your vacation.
West Beach construction
This cottage was very spacious and well-stocked but right next to major construction. We were awakened every morning at 7 AM by the beeping of construction vehicles in reverse. West Beach pool is closed due to construction so you have to bike 15 minutes to get to Night Heron pool. We love Kiawah Island for its peaceful natural environment, so this year’s trip was quite disappointing. Just wish we had known beforehand.
I am so sorry to hear about the construction. The new golf clubhouse was to be finished by April. I hope you were able to use the Sparrow Pond Pool. I will check with the property managers for Kiawah on Monday morning. The West Beach Resort pool does not open up until May 1, since it is not heated. I did check with my current renters and was told they did not have any problem with construction. I am so sorry for the problem you had with any noise.
