Isla Mujeres is located only 15 minutes by boat from Cancun, yet maintains its quaint island charm. Isla has a large variety of restaurants, cafes, night life, hotels and marinas. Favorite pastimes include scuba diving, big game fishing and snorkeling along one of the reefs surrounding the island. The island is approximately 5 miles long and .5 miles wide, and is easily explored by bike or golf-cart. But Isla is only the beginning, snorkel just off the beach. Or, for a bit of nautical history, visit the caves of the sleeping sharks nearby. Isla Contoy next door also provides excellent diving and a view of the aviary, or, for the most for a great learning experience about Mayan history and culture, book a day trip to Chitzen Itza. Your family may choose to visit the sea turtle hatchery next door, or swim with dolphins just up the road. Whatever the activity, Casa Bendicion is sure to provide your family with memories to last a lifetime! Come and Enjoy!

Beautiful Exclusive Area Of Sac Bajo: Located on the most exclusive beach of Isla Mujeres, Sac Bajo, Casa Bendicion is part of a new and exciting 24-unit 5-story condominium complex that features expansive views of our private beach, tremendous pool with 'swim up tiki bar', wireless Internet and a gym/spa. Casa Bendicion features 9 foot ceilings, double sliding glass doors that recede into the wall in the living-room creating an expansive unified space with the living room, dining area and balcony. Included is a complete kitchen with full size refrigerator, oven, stove with grill, microwave and a full set of pans and utensils. Sleeping for 8 (king, king, twin and two twins w/lofts). All beds have high quality mattresses with memory foam toppers. The master bathroom is very large and has a walk-in shower overlooking the water. Fabulous full water views are also readily apparent from the living room, kitchen and master bedroom.

Casa Bendicion is a joy. We rented a golf cart for the whole week and after a few hours on the bustling, noisy north end (where our favorite place for tacos was also the least expensive: Los Burritos), we’d stop by Cafe Mogagua for icy coffees and zoom back down south. Stepping through the gates of Playa al Mar always felt like we were returning to our own private heaven—quiet and peaceful, the view of the sunset from either the balcony or the pier was unbeatable. The pool and grounds were sparkling clean and the staff was fantastic and friendly. With two teenagers in tow, it was great to have three bedrooms—they shared the room with the king and the twin for sleeping and we used the bunk room as a walk-in closet. Between the pier, the pool, and the well-stocked game closet, nobody was ever bored. (Another valuable perk was the drinking water dispenser! Food tips: take-out pizza from Oscar’s is a great choice for those nights when you want to stay in, and breakfast at Cafe Mango is indeed as delicious as everyone says.) I’m writing this on the plane home to Indiana and I already want to go back to Casa Bendicion.

Nice, clean condo

First trip to Isla Mujeres - this condo is very clean, beds are comfortable, lots of towels and beach towels provided for guest use. There was also plenty of shampoo, soap, toothbrushes, etc. in case anyone forgot anything. The kitchen is well-stocked with cooking equipment, however, the numbers have rubbed off the dials of the stove and oven and it's hard to figure out where to set the temp. They also provide bottled water, which was great. The view is beautiful; you are on the bay and not the ocean and there is a smallish man-made beach by the water. Pool is very nice. We had a small hiccup with water in the condo not working when we arrived, but that was quickly resolved. The staff at the complex is very nice and very helpful. The condo also has a lot of movies, books and games, which was good because wifi was spotty to use the tv. The location is not close to town, but we had a golf cart to use to go wherever we wanted and the island is small, so it doesn't take much time. There are also taxis everywhere. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this condo.
