Location. Location. Location. CONVIVIO APARTMENT is your/our home in Florence, surrounded by the most famous art treasures of the world, right at the door. Live in a 13th century building, in the historic heart of the city. The apartment is charmingly furnished, with every modern convenience: WiFi, reverse cycle air-conditioning, cook's kitchen with dishwasher & double sink.
Free maps, Smart TV, books, music & DVDs. It is 2 minutes from the Uffizzi Gallery, the famous Duomo, the Pitti Palace, the famous Straw Market, the Gold Market on the Ponte Vecchio. The little street gives onto Piazza della Signoria, but is closed to traffic & therefore is calm & quiet.

You are surrounded by every service -- cafes, bars, restaurants, cinema, food shops and more. We also have someone to meet you on arrival and explain all about the apartment -- keys, heating etc. and to be available for any other queries you may have.

Live like a Florentine: Amenities: 18 ft paneled and vaulted ceilings. Large sitting-room with sofa-bed with innerspring mattress, two large three-seater sofas & ottoman.
Huge master bedroom with comfortable King bed which can be made up as two singles.
2nd bedroom/study with very comfortable Queen sofabed.
Dining room seats 6, furnished with an elegant blend of modern and traditional, and with beautiful crockery, glassware etc.
Kitchen with marble bench tops, dishwasher, double sink etc. Great oven and stove. High quality utensils,
New, modern, white and blue tiled bathroom with new fixtures and washing-machine.

Fully serviced before and after each guest, or weekly for longer stays.
We have a full and comprehensive sanitising and hygiene routine for every aspect of your stay.
The apartment is on what is called the first floor it Italy, but is really the second floor because there is a mezzanine in between. There is no elevator because the building is 800 years old and is under heritage laws that don't allow it. There are three flights of steps with landings in between. They are not difficult, but they are not suitable for anyone with mobility issues.

Florence is the ideal base for exploring much of Italy. High-speed trains take you to Rome and Milan in a couple of hours. Half an hour to Bologna.
Day-trips to many of the beautiful towns and villages ofTuscany, Reggio-Emilia and Umbria, which are only an hour or so away by train and car.

Tariff is all-inclusive, with no seasonal variations and no extras of any kind.

The owner was amazing. Jan even kept me up to date with what was going on around the places like Siena where the floors in the cathedral were open to the public, which I did not know. very central, very clean and Rosemary the housekeeper very polite and helpful

Simply the best

We had the most amazing time. The apartment was perfect and central to everything and steeped in history. Simply fantastic to experience. Never stayed anywhere with so much attention to detail. We would stay here again in a second, only hope it will be sooner than later. Vince & Connie.

A private haven right in the heart of the bustling city

It's hard to imagine how quickly you leave the busy city behind, but as soon as you open the big wooden door and go up the stairs to the apartment, you've come home. From the incredible high ceilings with the curved corners to the historic details throughout the home, you can see that the owner relishes living in Florence. Everyone of her recommendations was invaluable and appreciated. The apartment is perfectly furnished and well supplied. We are delighted that she agreed to share it with us.

Wonderful Location

Some of the things I love most about the apartment are: the sense of belonging - when the tourists go home at night the city is yours. I love being able to put my head out the bedroom window, look to the right & see Cosimo de Medici on his great charger, in Piazza della Signoria. I love Daniela's glorious fruit shop right at our door.
