Guestbook comments from the owner

We wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed our stay at the Treehouse. The staff was great--without exception. We appreciated the recommendations in the guestbook as it gave us peace of mind. We visited Gee's a couple of times--great food. We rode with Recardo and Moby Dick--both colorful characters and very pleasant. We hope to return to St Lucia someday and will keep the Treehouse in mind.

A Great Vacation Spot

  • 5 of 5

This was an amazing place to vacation from the view on the treehouse balcony looking at the twin Pitons to the valley just below it. There are hiking trails behind the treehouse as well as a great short hike to the Anse Chastanet Hotel and the beautiful blue water and sandy beach for some sun or just relax and listen to the waves of the ocean right beside the hotel. The water was so amazingly blue and calming. The food at the Anse Chastanet Hotel was wonderful and the service was great. The locals were all very kind and helpful everywere we went. The sightseeing trips were wonderful and informative from the Forest Tours to the trip to the Volcano. The mineral bath will make you feel ten years younger and make you not want to leave. Everywere you go you can stop and pick fresh fruits as well as a grocery store at the heart of the nearby town. The treehouse is just like a home away from home with all the necessary anamities right at your finger tips. The owner checked on us daily to make sure we were comforable and that we were enjoying our stay. You go to sleep with the sound of the crickets and wake up listening to the birds singing. I highly recommend this place for a first time vacation and for sure repeat visits.

What a find!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed for 9 nights in The Treehouse and couldn’t believe how lucky we were to have found such a great place to stay! Booking was straight forward and Sam, the owner, was very responsive to all our pre-trip questions. It was our first visit to St Lucia and we weren’t disappointed! A taxi had been arranged to pick us up at the airport and nothing was too much trouble for Paul our driver. He stopped off at the supermarket so we could pick up a few supplies to keep us going then on to the delight that is the Treehouse. Charmaine was there to greet us along with Coco the cat. After a quick tour to explain everything, she left us to settle in. The meal that Charmaine prepared for us was amazing and very welcome after our long day travelling. We soon started to relax as we sat on the balcony taking in the breathtaking view folllowed by the most spectacular sunset. The Treehouse is a slightly unusual layout (the lounge is open to the balcony which is lovely) and you do have to effectively come outside from the bedroom to access the bathroom but we rather liked this as a feature because you get to experience the night atmosphere. It’s all under the cover of a huge overhanging roof which means you can sit on the balcony and really enjoy watching the impressive rainstorms which make St Lucia so lush and green.

The plunge pool tended daily by Alvin was a real treat at the end of a hot day out and watching the humming birds at such close proximity from the pool or the balcony was very special and a sight I will treasure. The other wildlife - birds, ghekos, possum and MASSIVE toads (at night - they came to eat the cat food!) were all thrilling to watch.

It is hot trek up from Soufriere or Anse Chastanet and Anse Mamin (our favourite) beaches. We hired a little jeep, efficiently organised by the wonderful Charmaine, which gave us the freedom we love on holiday. We visited the botanical gardens, Touraille waterfall, Jalousie Beach, Malgretout Beach, Fond Doux Plantation, Tet Paul (definitely do this!), the tram and zip wire up at the Barbonneau rainforest and Pigeon Island. We

also walked up the hill behind the house - spectacular views there! We loved Anse Mamin beach and the little restaurant there. We mostly had it to ourselves.

So all in all a fantastic holiday. Charmaine is an absolute gem. The stunning surroundings and the warmth of the people on St Lucia made this a real trip to remember and treasure. Heartfelt thanks to everyone who made it so.

Perfect location and unbeatable hospitality

  • 5 of 5

We are very grateful for our stay at your Treehouse. The location was much more peaceful and beautiful than we had imagined. The walk to the beach each day is a routine that we already greatly miss. The hospitality of Clavie, Charmaine, and Marcus were a good reminder to us of why we should always find time for travel to distant places. We loved feeding the kitty and the birds each day, snorkeling (thank you for having gear at the Treehouse), hiking, visiting the volcano and botanical gardens and hiking to the top of the hill in the evening to see the lights of the harbor below. We can’t wait to visit again.

Garden Delight

  • 3 of 5

The Treehouse is in a very beautiful setting, surrounded by lush tropical plants with the Pitons in the background. The layout of the apartment is a bit different, it was alright for a short stay but not for anything more than few days. The walk back from the beach is steep, steep and rough. Make sure you have decent shoes. It would have been nice to have some coffee available. The morning hummingbirds were delightful.

Really enjoyed our stay at the Treehouse.

  • 4 of 5

We had the pleasure of staying at the Treehouse recently from Jan 24-Jan 27. Loved the vibe of the place. Great landscaping, great views, great location. The property manager, Charmaine, was a gem. The only negative was the fact that the property is right next to the road leading to the Jade Mountain and Anse Chastenant resorts and traffic, while not heavy, was enough that my sleeping was mildly impaired.

Pictures don't do this property justice. The views from the deck were incredible. Charmaine was so sweet and such a great cook.
