About Maureen Betz

We moved from Ohio to Littleton, Co 24 years ago & bought our 1st place in Grand Lake 20 years ago. We have 3 boys: twins that are in their 20's & a teenager. When they were younger they loved to go to the cabin & catch frogs, butterflies, grasshoppers, play on the swingset, enjoy the wildflower or just hang out on one of the big rocks to have a picnic.

Maureen Betz purchased this cabin in 2000

Why Maureen Betz chose Grand Lake

We love the quiet town of Grand Lake we enjoy boating on the 3 large lakes & hiking in Rocky Mountain National Park. We often have picnics by one of the lakes & our boys love to just hang outside & see the wildlife.

What makes this cabin unique

Seclusion, privacy & close proximity to town (1mile).

Guestbook comments from the manager

We came with very high expectations & have not been disappointed! Gorgeous cabin in a stunning location - I dont think we have ever been anywhere so relaxing. We went hiking, mountain biking, rented a boat on Grand Lake & went go-karting. Our teenagers liked the ping pong & x-box. We would come back again anytime!

Beautiful property for Spring Break for family of five!

  • 5 of 5

The seclusion of this property is so great. Not a neighbor in site as you stand on the deck that has a spectacular view of the lake and mountains below. The interior was super clean and the amenities provided met all of our needs for cooking, sitting in the hot tub, playing games, and watching movies. I highly recommend this property and look forward to book again.

Really nice cabin, gorgeous view and amazing owner

  • 5 of 5

I have stayed at other vocation rental in the area. But this one has so much to offer! We definitely sled down the drive way and all felt like kids again! The sunrise every morning was breathtakingly beautiful. Stargazing at night was amazing. Hot tub was spacious and all the jets worked nicely(which not all rentals have nicely working hot tubs.) Maureen was super nice and patient. I definitely recommend this place.

Amazing Private Mountain Getaway

  • 5 of 5

This cabin is very private. It sits on over 7 acres and the neighboring properties are even bigger so you have a huge space to yourself and the only other structure you see is part of a neighboring cabin (~500 feet away). The cabin has 3 levels with 3 total bedrooms (two with king bed each on the main level and one with king and queen on the top level). It also has a playroom/loft with "hidden" kid's space.

It has a nice playscape, gas grill, hot tub, outdoor wood burning fireplace, indoor gas fireplace, table tennis, shuffleboard, washer/dryer, 5 TVs total (all smart, 3 with satellite TV), tons of movies, books, games, and everything you could possibly need for a quiet family vacation, including baby gear.

It is an amazing property.

Great place for a weekend trip

  • 5 of 5

This was our second time staying as a group of 6 at the cabin. We come up once a year for a snowmobile weekend. The place is great. Hot will easily fit 4-6 after a day on the mountain. Will be back again next year.
