3 Bedrooms/3 Baths, (Sleeps 6 )
Aloha from Hawaii! We invite you to enjoy our Graeagle home. This is our 'home away from home' where we love to come for something completely different from what the islands have to offer. We live above the Kona coast where we farm organic Kona coffee with the help of our geese, ducks, sheep, dogs and cats. During the summer we enjoy traveling on the mainland in our RV and spending a few glorious days in Graeagle before heading back to Kona for harvest season. We want your stay here to exceed your expectations and hope you'll consider it your 'home away from home' too!
Lisen purchased this House in 2004
Why Lisen chose Blairsden
We chose to buy a house in Graeagle because of the incredible variety of recreation offered for families and couples. The past few summers our kids have been able to experience a top-rated summer camp, just half an hour from Graeagle--Shaffer's High Sierra Camp, where they have mountain biked, wind-surfed, hiked, rafted down rivers, zip-lined through the forest--you name it! They've learned so much and had the time of their lives. While they're at camp, Des and I have the time of our lives, too! We enjoy lots of quiet time, hiking and biking. We'll certainly have to take up golf because this is one of the best places if you're a golfer. We especially love taking a break from cooking and dining in the incredible selection of restaurants nearby. We have fallen head over heels for the friendly town of Graeagle which welcomes us back every year with smiles and 'aloha'.
What makes this House unique
One of the best things about our place is its location--so near to the lovely town of Graeagle, yet so close to the lakes, rivers and hiking trails. In the evenings, we love to walk or bike right from the house through the neighborhood, around the Mill Pond, on Graeagle Meadows Golf Course trails, or down to Frosties for a frozen treat. We can walk through this quiet neighborhood for an hour and not have one car pass us. We love that!

Beautiful house. Great location
We were up in the area for our son’s wedding. House was perfect in every way. Would love to come back
Home needs a air conditioner!! Noise road below!
A lot of restrictions and extra charge for each person, on top of the nightly rate.:(
This is a great opportunity to explain our nightly rate. We set a base rate based on two people because we find that lots of couples enjoy coming even though it is a three bedroom house. We love our couples! If there are more than two people we charge an additional rate of $40 per person. We do feel our rates are quite reasonable for the quality of our home and most people feel the same.
With regard to air conditioning, few people that live up in Graeagle have it as the temperatures are usually very comfortable. We find our guests are usually fine with the fans if they are needed. Most guests love the location of the house as well and are happy to return. We love our repeat customers too!
Amazing deck with view!
Clean, well-supplied, spacious house with a lovely deck and view that worked great for BBQ and playing cards. Easy walk to town and owner and manager were easy to contact. The 3rd bedroom is reached by going down deck stairs and makes a nice private suite. Kitchen is well stocked, but if you are a foodie bring your own knives. Would stay here again.
Centrally located for recreation in the area. Clean, spacious and well equipped.
The house has everything you need for a wonderful time in Graeagle. The kitchen is setup with every pot and pan and utensil for making great meals. We lived on the deck and cooked our meals on the grill. There were 5 of us and the house was comfortable and provided ample space. The fenced yard and the deck were perfect for our dogs. Lisen was responsive to all our questions.
Beautiful home and location! Looking forward to another visit.
Geocaching, Summer camp for kids, SUV Trails for Four Wheeling are just some of the additonal great outdoor things you can do. Driving Gold Lake Highway and visiting the many lakes and lodges along the way to the majestic Sierra Buttes is definitely something you don't want to miss.
