About Tracey Souverein

There is something powerfully uplifting about being in the middle of undisturbed nature and soaking in the beauty of the Rocky Mountains. It was those moments of peace that helped make our decision to own a place in Breckenridge. The town of Breckenridge is quaint, beautifully maintained and filled with local merchants and yet just steps away from some of the most beautiful quiet spots in Colorado. We have been renting by owner since 1999 and strive to make your lodging experience perfect.

Tracey Souverein purchased this studio in 2003

Why Tracey Souverein chose Breckenridge Area

When we were looking to buy another property in Breckenridge, we wanted it to be in the best location possible - it had to be a ski in/out property, in town and with a pool and hot tubs close by. Our Peak 9 Inn condo at The Village of Breckenridge is that and more. There is a fitness room, ski shop with rentals all in the same building with heated parking too. The views we have are fabulous and the unit itself is tucked in a quiet corner - perfect!

Wonderful location

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at the Peak 9 Inn condo for our annual trip to Breckenridge. The condo provided plenty of space for the two of us, fantastic views, and easy access to the slopes (Peak 9) and Main Street. We love how walkable this location is and we would stay here again. The pool and hot tubs were great as well! Thanks Tracey!

Great time

  • 5 of 5

The entire stay was very enjoyable. My only complaint is the need to pick up and drop off keys at the rental office across town. When using a transport service ( not having a car) this can be challenging esp. at 5 am when being picked up and it is cold and snowing

Great Stay, Loved it, and will book again!

  • 5 of 5

I had a wonderful time staying at this unit. It was clean and updated. The location is perfect. I have stayed at the Village before and liked this unit so much better than the other one. The access to the slopes, ski rentals, and Main st. is perfect. You can walk to anywhere you want to go. I would highly recommend this unit to anyone looking to stay in Breckenridge.

Perfect for a couple's ski vacation!

  • 5 of 5

What an exceptional stay at a great studio condo!

Ski-related location - perfect. Right at the base of Peak 9, on the same square as Christy Sports and Breckenridge Sports and just across the street from another ski rental shop. Short walk across the pedestrian square then pop on the skis and hop onto the Quicksilver Super 6 lift.

Town-related location - great. All the notable restaurants, bars and shops are within very easy walking distance. Main St. is just around the corner with plenty of shopping, a couple art galeries, and some of the best restaurants in Summit County!

Building - very nice. The unit is in "Building 4" which is the same building as the pool and hot tubs. Take the elevator down to 1st floor and the door to the pool, hot tub and sauna area is right there. Makes that after-ski dip into one of the 4 hot tubs very convenient and not to be missed!

Unit - exceptional! Perfect size for a couple, super comfortable bed, well-equipped kitchen. The one point to note is the thermostat runs hot, so be sure to turn it down low in order to get a comfortable room temperature.

Best of all Tracey, the property company manager, was great at communications and exceptionally responsive to all of our inquiries and emails!

We will definitely be renting here again!

Loved this condo. It was exactly as pictured. Just right for two people. Great location and enjoyed the hot tub and sauna after a day of hiking. Would recommend and stay again.

Fantastic!

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I stayed 5 nights over the Breckenridge Beer Festival weekend in late August and had a fantastic time! On the 6th floor the views are majestic, the room is nice and quiet - a good size for the 2 of us. I appreciated the coat hooks. Everything Breck has to offer is within walking distance from this condo. Breck is such a fun and scenic mountain town with a bajillion shops and restaurants to explore. We had a rental car but didn't use it at all during the 5 days we were there except to get to / from the airport. We enjoyed the free Gondola ride up to the base of the ski resort then hiked all the way to the top of the highest peak, then back down the mountain to our room. We enjoyed a few trail runs too - breathtaking scenery - literally - at that elevation. ;) The beer fest was a blast with 100's of local brewers as well as brewers such as Samuel Adams and Sapporo, food vendors, great live music and a fun Karaoke set-up at the far end of the festival. I highly recommend the burger, chili, salad, and fries and Quandary Grille just across the patio, they have excellent food! The only very minor issue I had was that check-in is after 4pm which is a little later than most hotels and they absolutely will not budge on checking in even a couple minutes before 4. We got our room key ~4:20pm and were tired from our long journey to get to Breck. But if you know the 4pm or later check-in time going into it - you should have no problems. The owners are quick to respond to emails and questions. Aside from that, I thoroughly enjoyed the rest of my time there with my sweetie pie. :)

There is so much to do in Breckenridge! It is the ideal vacation any time of the year! There is downhill skiing just steps away, cross country skiing, snowboarding, ice-skating, sledding, snow-shoeing, snow mobile tours, dog sleds and more for the outdoor enthusiasts in the winter. Fabulous shopping and exquisite or casual dining are year round treats. The spring, summer and fall bring hiking, biking, whitewater rafting, fishing, sailing, canoeing, kayaking, swimming, golf, tennis, horseback riding, alpine slides, theater, concerts, half-pipe skateboard park and much more! At Maggie Pond just outside the complex you can ice skate in the winter and in the summer you can paddle boat while listening to concerts. A small local grocery store is located about 6 blocks away but a larger grocery store at the other end of town is on the bus route or is a 35-40 minute walk. Breckenridge is about a 20 minute drive to the marina of Lake Dillon where boats, kakayaks, and canoes can all be rented.

Golf: Breckenridge is the only town in the world that owns a Jack Nicklaus designed 27 hole golf course. The course has won many awards including 'Best Mountain Course' by Colorado Golfer magazine. Breckenridge weather in the summer makes it a perfect place to play - you can enjoy the sunshine and avoid the heat. And if you really love golf, Keystone and Copper Mountain have courses as well just 20 minutes away.

Ski: Breckenridge is also home to a world class ski resort with four peaks to ski, the highest ski lift in the country and a great variety of levels to please all types of skiiers and snowboarders. This condo is located steps from the six person Quick Silver Lift next to Maggie Pond. The ski school is located near this lift as well. It is a fabulous family destination ski resort!
