Cross Village Stay
We’ve just spent a weekend at this vacation home and strongly recommend it. It is generously and thoughtfully supplied, a peaceful spot on Lake Michigan. Even a cozy TV room with Direct TV. We’ve stayed at many vacation rentals and this is one of the best!

Perfect in every way
Lovely vacation home on the lake. Light, airy, clean, spacious, and well-appointed. We loved reading on the deck with a view of the lake. Beautifully clear water for swimming and skies for star-gazing. Highly recommended.
Great Up North Escape as Advertised
Sue was very efficient and interested in making sure our week was a good one. We personally loved this location as the Harbor Springs and Petoskey areas get a little crazy in the summer. Within 45 min you can be in Mackinaw City or Charlevoix. Cross Village is small but amazing Polish food at Legs Inn, surprise high cuisine at the Old World Café and pizza and cinnamon roles at the General Store. The Little Traverse Wheelway gets a lot of press and we rode our bikes from Harbor Springs to Petoskey but it was basically alongside the busy road. Leaving Sue's property and going North was only a ~ 6 mile ride to Wilderness State Park with much less traffic. Check out the Dark Sky Museum in Mackinaw City. Great intermediate biking / hiking trail at the Offield Nature Preserve.
This was our second time at the property and it didn't disappoint. It is a great family home with direct access to the beach. It was private, peaceful, and a relaxing place to stay. You can't help but unwind when you see the beautiful view of Lake Michigan. We will definitely be back!
Clean and super nice with beautiful views!
Perfection! Our family of five stayed so comfortably here. Lots of room for everyone. We ate in a few nights and went out to eat a few nights to close restaurants; it was nice being able to have a kitchen stocked with all the pots and pans you’d need to make a meal.
Our older kids enjoyed spending time in the lake and the youngest loved playing on the large deck. We had limited cell service, which was really great. We played board games and read books and actually talked to each other!
You can’t beat the beautiful sunsets! The view is incredible. The location is great - situated between the Harbor Springs/Petoskey area and Mackinaw City - each just about half hour away.
