Overview

Photos and Description of this Livingston holiday house

3 Bedrooms, 2 Baths, Sleeps 6

The home is beautifully decorated with quality furnishings, yet is very comfortable. There are two bedrooms and two full baths in the main house. Both bedrooms have views toward the river. The master bedroom has a queen-size bed, and the second bedroom has two twin beds.

The living area has a spacious feel, with the kitchen separated from the dining area and living room by a couple of counters. There is a dishwasher, electric range and oven, and lots of quality cookware and serving ware. The dining area has a table that seats six comfortably and peaceful views of the woods and river. A breakfast nook off the dining area seats two.

Adjoining the dining area is the living room, which has comfortable leather couches arranged around the wood stove/fireplace. There is a television with VCR, DVD/CD player, and satellite service, plus a small stereo system.

For extra privacy, some members of your group may want to settle into the cozy guest house, which has two twin beds as well as a fold out couch (double-bed size) and a half bath. There is a small television and VCR.

The main house has decks along the back and sides, with plenty of porch furniture, a high-quality gas grill for your outdoor meals.

There is much to do nearby! Paradise Valley offers a wealth of outdoor recreational opportunities, including fishing, hiking, biking, horseback riding, rafting, as well as winter sports. It is a short drive to the restaurants and galleries of Livingston, to the legendary Chico Hot Springs, and to Yellowstone National Park and adjacent national forests.

Great location

The vacation rental was very dirty.

I was more than happy with the location.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.

Reviewer Comments:

Property did not meet our expectations in regards to quality. There is no quality cook ware. The linens are in bad need of replacement. lamps did not work. The outside area was littered with dog poop which made me wonder about no dogs allowed. No complimentary fireplace wood. The highlights of our stay, fishing was great. A small bear visited us on on the deck, and the art work in the home was top drawer.

Reviewer Comments:

Overall this was a great rental property, clean, well maintained and ideally located for our purposes. The one area future renters should be aware of, the beds. The master bedroom bed is on the soft side. The twin beds in the guest house have mattresses bigger than the box spring, fine for kids but for an adult it presented the real possibility of falling out of bed if you got to close to the edge at night. There was also a communication issue with the company, I didn't receive the lock box code for the keys ahead of time as promised and when I called the day before and the day of arrival, there was no answer at the company. I was told later this was all due to computer/internet problems. I would still recommend this property to others and would stay there again myself.

Beautiful home! This house included everything a vacationer might need from towels to kitchen supplies to a grill and a hot tub! We woke up to bugling elk and the sounds of a river. The only downside was some communication problems with the management company, but they were very polite and worked out the problems. I would highly recommend this home!

Reviewer Comments:

My family recently stayed at this location when in Montana for our son's wedding, which was at a venue very close by. The location was perfect and we had enough room for everyone to have some privacy. The setting is ideal and the deck with the gurgling Yellowstone River in the background was ideal. It is rather difficult to find at first but the hidden quiet was a plus. The house is well equipped but needs some updating. There are plenty of linens (although some are rather musty smelling) and towels but it was cool at night and there were not many extra blankets. We were really looking forward to being able to wash out clothes but were disappointed that the dryer would not work. We would have liked some instructions on what to do with our garbage as there was no large containers outside and we knew not to put garbage there because of the wildlife in the area. (We did have a black bear on our deck one evening which was exciting, and were glad out cooler that was on the deck was empty) With just some minor updating this location is great.

Loved this property! We loved the layout and the décor! Top notch! The back patio areas were so peaceful with our morning coffee or our evening glass of wine. The best part was the nature that surrounded us. We had deer walk in our backyard. I have never seen a deer that close before. What an experience. Also, we saw fox. That was a treat! We would stay here again in a heartbeat! Thanks
