A Fabulous view and only steps from the Pool and the sandy beach. B1311A

Located at Palm Island Resort on Florida’s Southwest Gulf Coast. No bridges or causeways to the island exist, which ensures a relaxed, tropical vacation setting.
The island resort encompasses a two-mile portion of private, pristine beaches on the northern end of Palm Island.
Guests travel to the island via car ferry and park their car in our island parking area. Transportation is provided by our bell staff and golf carts are also available for rent for registered guests.
Enjoy access to one of the 5 heated pools, plus hot tub and gas BBQ grills.
Tennis courts available for play and always complimentary.
Our recreation center, Coconuts, offers a variety of rentals to include golf carts, bicycles, kayaks and beach umbrellas.
A full service concierge can also arrange for everything from massages to fishing charters.
Be sure to catch a Pirate Show with the resort’s own Red Beard the Pirate.
Join a complimentary water aerobics class, nature walk or yoga on the beach when scheduled. Whether you wish to spend your time with us on the go or taking it slow, you’re sure to enjoy your new Memories at the Speed of Old Florida.

Wonderful stay!

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The unit above ours was being rehabbed as a result of hurricane damage. Lots of pounding Monday through Friday while we were there. Think we should have been forewarned about that! Lovely beach, some birding to be done, very quiet at non- construction times. The whole set up is a bit confusing--drop the cart here, get keys there. Thought all of that could have been more clearly stated and in one place, not three! There is a handout on activities but it is not clear which are free (or maybe they all are??) and where they meet. All of that needs to be clarified. But we're on Bonita Beach now, and I already miss the quiet of Palm Island, the beauty of the beach. Wish we'd investigated off-island birding spots more. Our one meal at Rum Point was mediocre at best.

We visit every Memorial Day weekend and can’t be more pleased with the resort and this unit. The unit is very up to date and remodeled. Everything is always in great working condition. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have been going to Palm Island since the mid 1990's. We were happy that one of our favorite units was available, B1311A, especially after Hurricane Ian.The unit is close to the pool and the beach and is beautifully appointed. This is the third time that we have stayed in this particular unit. As I mentioned, we have been coming here since the mid 1990's. The only drawback this time was the fact that we couldn't go in the water due to the seaweed and the developing red tide. It is extremely disappointing trying to explain to your grandchildren why it's dangerous to go in. Recent news reports warn of possible flesh eating bacteria in the seaweed along the Gulf Coast. Although the resort is not responsible for Mother Nature, one has to keep in mind the considerable expense incurred.
