About Wayne & Kimberly Pitts
The owners, Kim and Wayne, moved to Albuquerque for graduate school at UNM and fell in love with the Southwest. They built the house when their boys, Forrest and Walker, were little. Kim decorated it with furniture, handicrafts and art from their travels throughout Latin America. Wayne's job moved them away from Albuquerque, but they kept the house and hope to return to live there one day. Forrest and Walker also attended UNM. Walker is now in the Army and Forrest is working full-time. The Land of Enchantment has captured our hearts.
Wayne & Kimberly Pitts purchased this House in 2000
Why Wayne & Kimberly Pitts chose Encanto Village Hoa
This house is perfectly situated with easy access to I-40. The owners invested in this part of town because they enjoyed the appeal of living in the southwestern quadrant of Albuquerque. The house is close to Old Town and there are a lot of nearby attractions for children including the world-class zoo, the aquarium and biopark, the Children's Museum, and the Museum of Natural History. There are also some fantastic New Mexican restaurants nearby.
What makes this House unique
Because we built the home using a custom builder, we were able to add some special features. From the moment you enter the hand-carved front gate in the courtyard to the carved posts on the pergola on the back patio, you will notice the special details of this house. All of the furnishings have a unique history and many were made by Mexican artisans. In the fall, the smell of roasted green chile fills the air and the home is perfectly situated to enjoy the sights of the Sandia Mountains. Don't be surpised to see a hot air balloon fly directly over the house.

Consider us enchanted
Property was fantastic. Lovely floor plan, kitchen was great to prepare food in, living room was central and excellent for relaxing, nice comfortable bedrooms, and backyard was perfect for enjoying the weather in the mornings and evenings (you can see the mountains from the right spot!).
Neighborhood was also great for dog walking. Some mornings you can see hot air balloons overhead as you walk the delightfully named streets of Village Encanto. It is located well; it isn’t in the city center, but everything you could want to do in ABQ is a short distance away by car. Overall a wonderful stay.
Until next time, New Mexico!
Had a great stay at this beautiful property. Owners were great to work with; I received my instructions, checked in and out and it was a wrap! The home is beautiful with a
Cute and relaxing back yard. Truly a place to do get some R &R in.
Jewel in Albuquerque
Well appointed home with many beautiful features. Was a comfortable stay for a family of four. Didn't need any extras-plenty of dishes, pots & pans, towels. Nice to have a washer/dryer. Southwestern style and art much appreciated.
We rented this house as our base for exploring New Mexico. The house was clean and well maintained. We enjoyed the adobe architecture. Everything was as described. It is a beautiful home.
Will be back
My family and I really enjoyed staying at Encanto Village it was cozy and it’s a beautiful home. The owners are very friendly people. We are definitely thinking of coming back again. :)

Very nice home. Way better than i expected. My first time using Vrbo and was a little worried how it would turn out. But we loved this home can not wait till we can visit Albuqueque again and we will be scheduling our visit around the availability of this great home. So clean and well decorated with amazing beds. We really enjoyed the kitchen and back yard. Thankyou very much Wayne and Kimberly Pitts for having this great vacation rental available for people to enjoy.
The house is conveniently located near Interstate 40 making access to anywhere in Albuquerque convenient. A Balloon Fiesta shuttle stop is within walking distance-two blocks from the house. Volcanoes and Old Town are less than five miles. Santa Fe is less than an hour away by car or take the Railrunner train and see the beautiful scenery.
