What makes this cabin unique

This Cabin is a true Hand Hewn Log cabin. It has no paint, no carpet, no sheetrock. Just beautiful wood and logs, You wont want to leave. Treetop Treasure has a few steps to climb but everyone has said it's well worth the climb. Comfy, Cozy, everything you would need provided.

Guestbook comments from the owner

We had a great time. It rained everyday, and we only saw the view once for less than 30 minutes, but we needed a break so we didn't care. We have a 2 year old and a 7 month old. We left them at my wife's parents and got some rest. Thanks for the great place, everything was as good as advertised if not better.

The home and everything thing in it was wonderful!

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed the home so much we only left once in our six days there. Our expectations were exceeded in every way. Everything was in great working order and we had zero complaints about anything. We enjoyed nights in the hot tub and grilling and just relaxing by the fire. The house was very close to town, but far enough away to feel like you are not in town. The neighbors were friendly and quiet, and you can easily catch an Uber into Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge. We also ordered Ski Mountain Pizza and had it delivered, which is highly recommended! We will definitely book this cabin again in the future! The only downside, which was not an issue for us, was the amount of steps required to enter the cabin. If you have limited mobility please keep this in mind. If that is not an issue, climbing the steps is well worth it. Lastly, we made a small mistake packing and forgot a winter coat and Cande and Chris did everything they could trying to help get it delivered. Thank you so much for sharing your home!

Trip was fantastic! Could not beat the view for such a great price!

  • 5 of 5

The entire drive in will have you in awe of the Smokies. The cabin is in a great location with an even more incredible view. My wife and I honeymooned there for entire week and didn’t want to leave. Everything is cleaned upon previous checkouts, so when we checked in it was in great condition and had a really fresh smell walking through the door. During the colder months there is firewood provided which is super awesome, and once you get a hot bed of coals that fireplace will heat the entire cabin. There are also plenty of movie channels (including Netflix) provided which makes for a nice stay-at-home kind of day. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for nice getaway.

P.S. if you’re going to buy groceries for the time you’re there, go west of gatlinburg (away from tourist areas) to your typical grocery stores. Groceries are expensive elsewhere.

Breathtaking views, comforts of home

  • 5 of 5

Driving into Gatlinburg at night is a treat, but trekking the high mountain up to our cabin was a little nerve wracking. Once we parked and got out, all of worries melted away. Wondering around the cabin the first few minutes is like being a kid in a candy store. A hot tub, a large bed, a skywalk to a balcony over looking the mountain, a pool table, and our fave part an entertainment sofa perfect for Netflix watching. We woke up every morning, made coffee in the awesome kitchen, and opened all the blinds. Watching the fog roll onto the mountains and up on the porch to disappear moments later was a heavenly sight. The kitchen provided all the cooking utensils we needed to make our breakfast each day and cocktails at night. The hot tub provided relaxation on a cold night after walking all day! We woke up to 3 inches of snow our first morning here and little footprints from the banister of the stairs leading down to the driveway. We suspect a little raccoon friend!!! Treetop Treasure provides the perfect setting to make our tenth anniversary trip so special. The owners were so kind to check on us several times. They truly want you to have the best experience. We are already planning our next trip.

Beautiful views! Wonderful cabin that has everything you need.

  • 5 of 5

This cabin is amazing! The views are spectacular! Everything is provided at this cabin. We’ve rented cabins and owned two in the area and none are as equipped as this one. If there is any negative it is all the steps leading to the cabin. It was raining when we arrived and we got soaked. In order to have the magnificent views , you have to be high in the mountains so it makes the steps easier to accept. We loved the recliners in the living room. They were comfortable and right in front of the fireplace and TV. We definitely will be back!

Owner's Response: Thank you Vicki! Funny little story about those stairs...we weren't suppose to have any well maybe 3-4 to get from the parking to the entry door, city nixed that plan as they have a program in place to preserve the slope of the mountainsides, I can appreciate that and thank the Lord I am able to hike those stairs because that view is sooooo worth it!

Cozy and warm cabin with amazing mountains views!

  • 5 of 5

We chose this cabin for it's warm and cozy appeal and amazing mountain views. It was wonderful! The cabin is in a great location, just a few minutes up the mountain road from the town of Gatlinburg and nearby hiking trails in the national park. The cabin was clean and had everything needed for a relaxing trip. The owners had even decorated the cabin with Christmas trees and décor to make it feel like "home". There is a hot tub on the lower balcony where you can watch the Ober Gatlinburg Tram go up/down the mountain. From the upstairs bedroom there is access to another small balcony with a hammock and more amazing views! Note, there are other cabins located nearby and across the street from the balconies but the area was very quiet during our visit. We did enjoy a few games of pool and appreciated having the free Netflix option to watch our favorite shows. Cande' was very friendly and helpful with local activity and restaurant selections. We hope to return to Treetop Treasure!

Owner's Response: Treetop Treasure is located in a subdivision NOT a resort community. And because of that you do have access to seasonal outdoor swimming pools, tennis courts and fitness rooms/clubhouses. Yes you have neighbors down and below which you can see on the photos here on the site. Also to one side and back and above that you will not really see except when you drive and walk up the stairs. Great location to town and Ober Gatlinburg and the national park. Fully equipped to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Treetop truly is a treasure.

Another great vacation

  • 5 of 5

We have been staying with Cluff's Cabin Rentals for 4 years now. This is the first time we stayed at their Tree Top cabin. It was a wonderful stay as usual. The cabin was clean, spacious and fantastic view of Mt Leconte. We stayed for the Gatlinburg New Years celebration. While we were not able to attend the celebration in town we were able to watch the fireworks from the cabin deck as it overlooks the city. The cabin was well stocked. We had a fire going in the wood burning fireplace for (2) days. Thank you Chris & Cande for sharing Tree Top with us.

Owner's Response: Sorry the weather ruined your plans to attend the NYE festivities in downtown Gatlinburg. The good thing is you were safe and warm, didn't have to fight the crowds and still got to have a front row view of the fireworks right from the deck (or hot tub)! You can see the city lights at night, watch the Ober Tram traverse the mountainside and enjoy a wood burning fireplace (seasonal) (firewood included with your stay). We appreciate those that are return customers and try out both our cabins, each offers great views and amenities and wonderful locations. Check out our other listing here by searching listing number 432205. We're sure one of our cabins is the perfect one for you Smoky Mt vacation.
