Why stay in a hotel when you can stay in a beautiful, comfortable and spacious golf front condominium at the Fairway Villas at Waikoloa Beach Resort?

Our condominium home has 2 bedrooms, 2 full baths, plus a loft configured as follows:

*Master bedroom - king bed

*2nd bedroom - 2 twin beds

*Loft - 2 twin beds

*We also have a Queen sleeper sofa available

Our unit is very spacious with 1300 square feet of living space, plus a covered lanai which overlooks the Kings’ golf course and has an unobstructed view of the Kohala Mountains and Mauna Kea volcano. You can also see the Hawaiian Petroglyph field. Our unit is quiet, as it is located on the third (top) floor, yet is easily accessible via elevator or stairs. Vaulted ceilings lend a feeling of openness and light. Beautiful new bamboo hardwood flooring feel cool and smooth. There is central air-conditioning, and there are ceiling fans are in each room and the loft for those tropical Hawaiian days.

Staying in our condo is a convenient alternative to staying in a hotel. Our home is fully equipped - the kitchen has a smooth-top range, new stainless microwave, stainless refrigerator with in-door ice/filtered water, and dishwasher. A newer, full-size stacking washer/dryer is also located within the unit for your convenience.

Cable TV, Wi-Fi Internet, local and (nationwide + Canada) long distance phone calls are included in the rate. We recently upgraded our TV's to flat screens. We also provide an iPod/iPad/mp3/Bluetooth music player for the main room. We also provide an iHome iPhone/iPad player in the Master bedroom. There is a Wii system in the living room with some games.

Fairway Villas has a beautiful recreation center with an infinity-edge pool, hot tub, and workout facility within a one minute walk of the unit. Guests and residents are also welcome to use the gas BBQs located adjacent to the pool.

Our unit features dramatic mountain views of the Kohala Mountains, as well as Mauna Kea. The intriguing and historic petroglyph field and King's Trail are also a one minute walk away, and can be seen from our Lanai. The world-class Beach and Kings’ courses at Waikoloa Beach are just outside! Other world-class courses are minutes away including the Mauna Kea and Hapuna Prince courses, and the North and South Mauna Lani courses. Wonderful restaurants, entertainment and boutique shopping are within walking distance from the Fairway Villas at King's Shops. Restaurants include Roy’s Waikoloa, Merriman's Café, Island Fish and Chips, The Three Fat Pigs gastropub and other options. Starbucks, more entertainment, shopping and many casual dining alternatives can be found at Queen's Marketplace, also a 5 minute walk. There is a Farmers Market at the Kings' Shops every Wednesday.

About Geoff Collins

We live in Southern CA and visit The Big Island once per year. We'd definitely visit more, if possible! We first came to the Big Island around 2000 to visit the volcano and have been hooked ever since. We enjoy family vacations to the Big Island and love the beaches along the Kohala Coast, the snorkeling, horse riding adventures in the Waimea area, exploring Waipio Valley, visiting and hiking in Volcanos National Park, exploring ancient Hawaiian ruins and historical settlements, farmers markets, and much more!

Why Geoff Collins chose Puako

We first stayed at the Fairway Villas about 15 years ago and had an amazing time that made us want to come back again and again. The best part is probably the location situated in between Queen's and King's Shops. You can walk to either in about 5 minutes. It's also a short walk to the beach (A-Bay). We love the infinity pool. The golf course and Kohala Mountains views are beautiful. The grounds are well maintained and beautiful. Our son and daughter love trying to catch geckos on the grounds and we love to hike the amazing petroglyphs which are right outside our condo.

What makes this condo unique

We especially love versatility of the upstairs loft. Kids absolutely love it, too! It essentially makes our place a 3 bedroom unit vs. a 2 bedroom. We've outfitted the unit with beautiful tropical décor, quilts linens, etc. We provide higher thread count sheets. We are very excited and passionate about the Big Island and want to share that with our guests! We want you to enjoy your visit as much as we enjoy our visits!

Amazing golf getaway

We came here for a week of golf and were extremely happy with the location and accommodations. The condo is very well equipped with every amenity and is centrally located close to many great golf courses on the Big Island. Would definitely stay here again if I have the opportunity to return.

Owner responsive to issues that came up, though few problems. Infinity pool wonderful along with great outdoor BBQ space. Front bedroom and loft stuffy as air seemed to turn off at 4AM? Wonderful facility with view of green #1 from lanai. Big fridge with washer and dryer. Good price for Hawaii in February🌋

Wonderful condo

We travel regularly and stay in a fare amount of condos. This is the first condo that was as beautiful as the pictures. The location was great! We did a lot of activities around the island and it was centrally located and close to Saddleback Road. Our favorite beach was Hapuna Beach which was a short drive North. It is about 20 minutes from Costco which is a must when traveling with your family. It was a wonderful convenience to have lots of cookware, utensils and a cooler to use to cut down on the expenses of dining out with a family of 6. There were most of the necessities I would normally have to buy like garbage liners, coffee filters and spices. I tried to leave a few things guests may want to use too. We brought our own snorkeling gear, but there was a large container of snorkeling items and water shoes in the master closet. This was a wonderful condo and vacation spot.

Spacious Condo with upstairs loft

The condo was great for our family of 6 to stay for 5 nights. First, it has 4 twin beds (very hard to find) so each boy could have their own bed. Everything we needed was provided. We loved having beach towels to use at all the beaches, boogie boards, and having AC to come home to. My kids loved the loft, the Wii, and the swimming pool. The washer and dryer were great to have. Beds were all comfortable and the condo felt spacious with an open design. The condo was beautiful and clean with a rock bottom shower and all the cooking utensils that were needed to cook many of our meals there. The back lanai was the perfect place to watch the sunrise and "A" beach was a 15 minute walk away to watch the sunset. We had been told there was 10 snorkel sets and when we arrived there was only two pair of goggles. We had to make a quick stop at War-Mart before snorkeling but it all worked out.

Another reason we chose this place was for the central location. We loved Hapuna and Kauna'oa (at the Mauna Kea resort) beach the best for boogie boarding and they were 15-20 minutes north. Going to Kailua and south to Honaunau (Two step) was 35-60 minutes away but we still felt centered and there were so many beaches to choose from nearby. Would definitely recommend this place!
