Accommodations: Cabana Beach Club is a relaxing retreat located directly on the Gulf of Mexico on the northern-end of Longboat Key with several units also located on the bay side. Choose from our various unit styles including one-, two-bedroom and efficiency units. Relaxing Short Vacation to the Gulf

Nice, beach condo

Location is the primary attraction for this unit. The beach really is 20 feet from the back units. They provided some lounge chairs near the beach as well. The umbrellas were all not functioning and could use some new ones. Communal pool was adequate. Similar to a lot of vacation rentals in Florida the furniture was pretty dated and kitckenware random and inferior. Set up of the family room furniture could use some work. Ultimately, we needed a place for a few days on short notice and this place worked out well. Manager was responsive. heated pool, great beach access. and clean.

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I have been vacationing at Longboat for over 25 years. All our stays have been perfect except the one at this property. The bathroom is a problem. There is an opening in the shower and water puddles outside each an every time shower is used. My 86 year old mother fell due to accumulated water outside shower,having to leave our family vacation ahead of time. We spent the entire vacation cleaning water, placing towels and stepping on wet towels. It was a huge inconvenience. One does not expect to be cleaning and washing towels when reserving a high end property. King size blankets were not provided for the 2 King beds. Only two small old, worn out twin size blankets that would slide off. Dryer does not dry properly- it was necessary to run cycle about 3 times. The first time we used, unaware of this issue, our load of new clothing shrunk one entire size ruining most of it. Washer and Dryer are very loud so this extra room with bed was not usable when washing. Lower bunk bed mattress in this same room is so hard, not even a child could sleep on it.Child had to sleep with 86 year old grandmother and created many difficulties. Issues were reported to RVA and partial refund was requested, no one has attended the situation or contacted us after reaching out to office via email.
