Bear Mountain~Awesome Walk To Lift Location~Refurbished Kitchen~Wood Stove~Cozy~
average rating of 3.0 based on 1 reviews

Incredibly close to Bear Mountain lifts.

  • 3 of 5

The cabin was one of the closest to Bear Mountain lifts. The kitchen is adequately, but not abundantly, stocked with standard pans, silverware, glasses, etc. The bedrooms are well organized to sleep at least 6, probably 7 including kids. however, the beds were not that comfortable, and somewhat noisy if you move around. The thermostat has a mind of its own. I am sure the programmable feature may be nice if one lives there, but for visitors, it constantly changes to pre-programmed temperatures, even when you set the thermostat manually. We lowered the thermostat several times a day (and night) as someone had programmed the thermostat for a different, excessively warm, temperature at least every twelve hours of every day. There is parking for three cars. The building's sign confirm this. If one wants to ski or snow-board after checking out, one needs to drive into town, check out, and then return. It should be a bit easier to check out. All in all, I recommend and hope to return.
