Why John Gallucci chose Fleetwood
We've always enjoyed the mountains of NC and wanted a second home where we could get away, relax and spend quality time with our children, their friends, as well as with our friends. We bought this beautiful home in 2008 after we fell in love with the magnificent view. Because it is our second home, it has all the amenities of home with a feeling of casual comfort and warmth. We know if you stay here, you will feel like welcome guests and will want to come back again and again.

Are weekend Stay
This is a great place to stay. Its a beautiful house with a great view. Very open floor plan with a kitchen that has everything you need. Its also a short drive to Boone, West Jefferson, and the parkway. The owner is also very helpful if you have any question. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone and would stay their again
I took my family to spend Christmas in the mountains and couldn’t have asked for a better location. The house was decorated for Christmas and made us feel like we were right at home. The view from the back deck was amazing. Quick response from the property owner on all of my questions. Would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to get away for some serious down time.
Gorgeous house and beautiful property. House was equipped with everything you needed. Scenery was breath taking. We really enjoyed our trip. The owner John answered all our questions.
20 minutes from Boone
The Highridge House was likely the cleanest and most equipped VRBO we've ever stayed in. It felt like home. John was accessible and a quick responder and made the process--from start to finish--easy and efficient. We were in the area for a fall break and an Appalachian State tour. It's an easy drive into Boone and nice to be out of the bustle (and traffic) of that area. We accessed the restaurants, stores, and amenities of Boone and then happily retreated to the Highridge House for some peace and quiet and mountain air. On a separate note, we highly recommend the Hawksnest Zipline Tour for some exhilarating family adventures when you stay at John's place.
Thank you so much for your review Meredith! We work hard to make our guests feel like it's their own home and equipped with everything they need. Please stay wit us again.
Owner very accommodating. Property well organized. Spectacular views from bedrooms and living room. Very comfortable. Suited our needs perfectly. Would stay there again.
Drive or hike Blue Ridge Parkway less than 5 minutes away. Canoe or tubing on New River. In Nov/Dec 50+ 'choose and cut' Christmas Tree farms in area.
