What makes this Cottage unique
Hummingbird Cottage is well built, furnished, stocked, and located. It is a tiny home that is hidden and private but still right in the middle of town.

Overall a great stay, served our purpose very well.
Only downside is the Kitchen facilities are poorly equipped, could stand an upgrade of the cook ware and utensils.
The Owner was accommodating and quite pleasant.
Would recommend to others.
We did have some cheap silverware! Got all new pots, pans and utensils in there now.
Christmas in Alpine
Great place to stay to be able to take day trips to Big Bend, Marfa, Fort Davis, etc. If we wanted to eat in, we had what we needed to fix breakfast and dinner. Grocery stores are near by.
Worked out very well for my husband and I.
Jenny's Hummingbird Cabin
Cabin was clean and tidy with plenty of amenities. Jenny greeted us when we arrived and offered to help us with anything else we might need during our stay. This is our second stay and we would happily stay a third, fourth and fifth time!
Alpine Cottage, Mark & Wanda
We have stayed in the cottage many times, Why? Always very clean, well equipped, well located and never disappointed.
Best little place in Alpine
Jenny and her cottage have it all. For the last 5 yrs for our anniversary, we have made this place our annual Alpine check-in before heading out to Big Bend. There's a reason we keep coming back to the same place. Without fail the following is provided: Big Bend Coffee Roasters coffee and organic half & half, Aveda hair and body care, well appointed kitchen for cooking, gas range, comfy bed and pillows, and impeccable cleanliness. Also, if it's cold, which it often is in November, the casita is nice and warm when we arrive. Thank you, Jenny, for your consistency in hospitality!
Kokernot Park is three blocks east, and features a seasonal pool, children's playground, dog park, tennis and basketball courts and skateboard park. Adjacent to the park is historic Kokernot Field, home of the Sul Ross State University Lobos and Big Bend Cowboys baseball teams.
