We are Steven and Mariko Hirano and came to Kanab 30 years ago for the founding of Best Friends. The main of the reason for choosing Kanab is the extraordinary beauty of the area, also the sun shines most of the year (say, 320 days). The skies are pristine blue, the air is clean and the waters are clear. It's a natural wonderland – majestic red-rock country surrounded by national parks.

Clean, well equipped, great location

Great location to national parks. Well equipped with kitchen supplies, towels, blankets, etc. Hot tub and solar heated pool steps away, as well as clubhouse with good fitness room. Very convenient parking. Was perfect for our family of 5.

Adequate but nothing special

Condo is in a good location if you are volunteering at Best Friends Animal Sanctuary. Overall, the unit is dated- coffee pot is old, slow and loud. Beds are adequate, but not particularly comfortable. There are carpet stains and the furniture is modest. The unit felt very sterile as there were no tissues, lamps or anything to make it feel more than a hotel room. Compared to other rentals I've stayed at this was only adequate. This is not a luxury townhouse

This is a great centrally located property that let us explore a variety of hikes and scenic drives. Condo is very well equipped. It had absolutely everything we needed. We appreciated that it was also very clean.

Outstanding stay

We stayed at Steven's townhouse for 6 days, using it as a base to explore Zion, Bryce and the Grand Canyon. We found it to be quiet and very well equipped. Overall it was clean, with the exception of one of the comforters which was covered in dog fur. Besides that the townhouse was great.
