Why Michael Kaufman chose Eldorado at Santa Fe
This was our home and we're now looking to share it with others.
What makes this House unique
The beauty of the surrounding landscape and 360 degree views are spectacular. The house has sunrise and sunset views and the skies are gorgeous nearly every day. The wilderness areas nearby have great hiking - and the herd of elk in the BLM land is a great treat. The silence and stillness is compelling and very impacting.

Anyone staying in this beautiful home will feel special and pampered! The towels were superior! The spaciousness of the house gives everyone room to relax and ponder on the daily activities of SantaFe and beyond! We would rent this house again! And the outdoor patio gives you the high desert space and gorgeous sunsets!
Paradise in Santa Fe
We had a family reunion this August in this beautiful home. It was just great...very relaxing. Gorgeous comfortable furniture, a chef's kitchen with top of the line appliances and plenty of room for everyone to cook, and a dining room with a round wood table with a lazy susan...perfect for great conversation. The bedrooms had wonderful views and really comfortable beds and bedding. But the best thing about this house was the views out the back. A long portico was the perfect place to watch the stars and we got the opportunity to watch some wonderful August thunderstorms. The mountain views went on forever. Thoughtful and gorgeous art throughout the house, and wonderful landscaping made this the perfect place for a restful and happy get away. I hope I have the opportunity to go back there again!
Just outside Santa Fe
The property was well kept, with a few areas needing improvements: guest showerhead was corroded, multiple window screens don't sit flush allowing bugs easy access to the inside of the home, and one of the extra bedroom mattresses is old, and has a large dip in the middle.
There are also some choices that could be plus/negative depending on opinion: no toaster (only a toaster oven that takes a long time), no tv in master bedroom, no plastic cups (kids and glass dont mix), and plants that need watering.
When we first arrived the house was very very hot, without air conditioning it made the first night uncomfortable. Which resulted in poor sleep for most of us (even with all the windows and doors with screens open all night). After the first night we were able to cool the house down a bit more using the windows and fans, but after a long day of travel having a hot house was not something we wanted to come into.
Otherwise the house provides a quiet retreat away from the downtown lights of santa fe.
Thank you for the feedback. We pride ourselves in providing a great guest experience. Until now we have only received five star ratings and will look into making improvements.

Great stay for this family of 2 adults 2 kids.
This is a great house to stay at. The neighbours are nice and quiet, the view from the backyard is great (you can hardly see the houses since they're hidden in the scenery). It's far enough out of town where the light pollution doesn't affect the sky too much.
The house had everything we needed, and Michael was great to work with. We'd come again!
A great spot in El Dorado
Beautiful home, clean and well equipped. Magnificent views of the mountains. We enjoyed our stay very much and look forward to going back!
Quiet, comfortable and scenic
We spent three weeks here and felt very much at home. The house has everything one needs. The views from the patio are wonderful, the night sky spectacular.
