The upper loft area with suite and bedroom open to one another with enclosed adjacent bath has magnificent natural lighting and drywall interior with log wood ceiling all of which is open to the outer 3rd story glass enclosed balcony.
You will feel at home as soon as you arrive. Lower walkout game room, laundry and 3rd bath area.

Second time staying here.

This cabin has everything you need with room to spread out. Lots to do, skiing, tubing and the water park. We had a great time. The owner is quick to answer questions. Great place!

A beautiful, quiet cabin that is close to everything!

We were delighted with the comfort and cleanliness of this cabin. It was the perfect location for our group of 3 couples to relax after each day of exploring the area. We had everything we needed (dishes, pans, towels, etc) The games in the lower level added to our fun!

Beautiful house

House has beautiful living room and twig type staircase. Front porch is great to have cup of coffee first thing In morning. Go out in back of property and see stream running.. lower level was too cold to sit in. Owner was very nice. Directions are confusing, need to be updated. Also few pieces of furniture in living room are not comfortable sitting in.

We love the outdoors and love to be in it. We fell in love with the drybed Cedar forest on this property and then viewed the perfect natural place to build the log home. With the assistance of a local builder and dear friends we spent years of weekends finishing the house for occupancy with plans to move North. Much to our delight we had a grandson join the family then another, then another and we just can't leave the delightful little ones yet in Southern MI. MI is the state we both grew up in and after traveling to what we thought were our dream states realized we have the best right here. Someday ahead we hope to enjoy the Log Home full time but for now are willing to share our dream.

Why they chose this property

We built it because of the many outdoor activities in this area. We love the snow, snow ski, snowshoe, hike and snowmobil, and the same love in the Summer with so many lakes and outdoor activities or just a walk in the great fresh air. The view from the front porch with total Fall color change or the morning sunrise with a cup of coffee on the swing or evening happy hour.on the back balcony.

What makes this property unique

We have many lovely neighbors that live there yearround and others that are weekenders like us. With all of us having acreage and busy lifestyles we enjoy our privacy in a friendly manner. Sitting in what I call our fairy forrest I love the tranquility of listening to and watching the rushing river on a hot day. We snowshoe in the woods on the most blistering winter days totally protected from the winds. Lake Louise is minutes away in the Summer with a wonderful park, public access and beach area that is usually not crowded. Lake Charlevoix is 5 minutes away. Private side deck for sunbathing. Plenty of room to throw a ball. The mushroom hunting is great. Boyne City has street music & events ever Friday during the Summer months. We do share a portion of the Cedar Forrest with a neighbor and request consideration of their privacy in their posted region. The large bridge across the river is theirs and private. Thank you!
