Looking for the perfect retreat space for a family get away? This stunning house was built in 2009 with hiking, biking, skiing and snowmobiling in mind. Located on 25 acres in the rolling hills of Mt. Holly, there are activities for everyone. Strap on the cross country skis, rev up the snowmobile, or just relax in the sauna and hot tub out on the deck.
The Great Room has a cathedral ceiling, and a stone fireplace that dominates with warmth. Sit in the corner and finish the puzzle, gather in front of the fire, or just sit back and enjoy a movie on the giant flat screen TV. The large windows reveal a spectacular view of Salt Ash Mt and distant ranges. This spacious 5 bedroom home is very open and has an exquisite kitchen, 4 full bathrooms, an eating bar, dining area, and a huge game room!
The master BR has a king size bed and a private all stone walk-in shower. The three bedrooms upstairs all have queen beds, and share another all stone walk-in shower. They also share a private common area with its own big screen TV with video and gaming amenities. The fifth bedroom, located on the lower floor, is equipped with 2 bunk beds (i.e., 4 bunks) and has its own full bath as well. (An inflatable queen-sized mattress and a single folding cot are on site as well). Also on the lower floor is our game room with: pool, ping pong, darts, foosball, large screen TV and Peloton bike.
Our home is equipped with cable TV, including all the pay channels, and wifi throughout! The house also has a lovely cedar sauna located in close proximity to the outdoor hot tub!

Mountain Getaway

Our group had such a wonderful time in the this stunning mountain retreat! All of the amenities were perfect for our ski getaway- the kitchen, hot tub, fireplace, beautiful bathrooms, recreation basement, stunning views, comfortable furnishings, the list doesnt end! Summit house paradise

If you are looking for the perfect property for your family, look no further, this is the place ! From the most comfortable beds, a cooks kitchen, lots of room to gather, hot tub and a game room to boot, this home has everything! The owner has great communication and really cares about his guests, nothing was overlooked. Highly recommend !!!!!!!

A vacation in itself

This house just oozes relaxation. We spent 48 hours soaking up every nook and cranny… from big meals together at the dining table to cozy chats in front of the fire place to lovely long hot tub sessions to rousing games in the game room to long, luxurious sleeps in the comfortable beds… it was everything this group of Moms needed after two long years of waiting!

Annual Fun ski weekend getaway (3 Families!)

Three families stayed comfortably at this fabulous house! Our kids loved the game room downstairs and enjoyed playing foosball, ping pong and darts. The hot tub and sauna were a hit each night after returning from a long day on the slopes. Loved the robes, very nice touch! Tom, (host) was extremely helpful and responsive when we had questions about how to operate the sauna or hot tub. Fire pit was amazing to make smores and there were plenty of logs to use. We hope to return again very soon. The house is simply amazing!

Great family vacation home!

Great family vacation home that you never have to leave to experience a great time!!! We loved everything about this home! There was plenty of room for the 12 of us! The game room was outrageous! The firepit outside was perfect for roasting marshmallows, making s’mores and just sitting around having adult time while the kids were sledding 10 feet away! The kitchen was well equipped and the living room with a beautiful fireplace was exquisite! We happened to be sun worshippers and love the warm weather but this winter wonderland was just perfect!! Didu mention the hot tub and sauna wasn’t too bad either!!! Perfect!

Our family has been vacationing in Vermont for many years, and has loved the classic New England feel that it offers. Whether in the Winter or the Summer, we have found activities to suit everyone's needs. We have just recently finished our ski home and have loved every minute spent there. We hope that others can share in these good times and will care for our home as though it were their own.

Why they chose this property

Mt. Holly was the perfect place for us to build because of its access to multiple mountains. Okemo is just 5 minutes down the road, and Killington and Pico are 25 minutes away. Also Stratton and Bromely are about 40 minutes south. In the Summer months, the house is central to the area's hiking, kayaking and biking activities. There are lakes abound, and lots of swimming hole to be explored!

What makes this property unique

Being located on the VAST trail is a must for all snowmobil enthusiasts! Then after a hard day of riding or skiing, enjoy a relaxing sauna and/or hot tub out by the fire pit.
