Overview

About the property

Farmhouse, 3 Bedrooms, 2 Baths, (Sleeps 6)

Feel like you're getting away to the country in this early 1900's-era farmhouse, just 10 minutes to downtown Portland, and 30 minutes to world-class Willamette Valley wineries.

Here, you'll enjoy solitude and room to breathe before heading out to explore the city. You'll be centrally located to make easy day trips to wine country. Sip your complimentary Peet's coffee on the porch swing overlooking the native Northwest front garden. Or stroll around the 3/4-acre, fenced, back yard teeming with birds, frogs, butterflies and sometimes deer.

Inside, you'll feel the warmth and charm maintained in this home, complete with a bay window and oversize original windows, arched doorways, fir floors and a wood-burning fireplace.

Retreat to the master suite, located away from the main living spaces. Here, floor-to-ceiling windows offer a private view to the back garden. The two other bedrooms, each with full-size beds, share a jack and jill bath.

From here, it's a short two-block walk to the grocery store, Starbucks, and neighborhood pub specializing in handcrafted microbrews. Check out the eclectic mix of independently-owned shops and restaurants in Multnomah Village, less than a mile away.

Freeway access is a breeze from this central location: I-5, Hwy 217 and Hwy 26. Close to the Oregon Zoo, OMSI, Lewis and Clark College, OHSU . . . and all that is funky Portland.

The house is on a bus line and bike lane. Downtown Portland is only a 20-minute bike ride away.

Great house in a great location

  • 5 of 5

Perfect location for this great little house! The neighborhood is quiet and country feeling, but still close enough to shopping in Beaverton, Tigard and even downtown. The house is well stocked with the basics and feels nice and private.

Portland Paradise!

  • 5 of 5

We loved this property! Our dog roamed the giant yard with plenty of room to play ball. The kitchen was the best set up and stocked property we've rented to date. The location was perfect for us. We never turned on the TV the time we were there. If you are looking for secluded, charming, fun place to retreat this place is it!!

Amazing

  • 5 of 5

We stayed 5 days for a friends wedding. The house was perfect. We couldn't believe the backyard! Fruit trees, grape vines, rose garden... It was truly amazing (coming from San Francisco with no yard at all). Our toddler loved exploring in the yard everyday. The kitchen was redone very nicely. It was a great location and house, the only thing that could use an upgrade is the tv. We brought our Chromecast with figuring we could watch Game of Thrones season finale but the tv was so old it wouldnt take the plug in and the color was off quite a bit. But we didnt really plan to watch tv so it wasn't a big deal for us.

Wonderful cozy home!

Loved our stay. Beautiful home, conveniently located. Big backyard that makes you feel like you're out in the country. Beautiful flowers and many varieties of fruit to checkout in the backyard. Wouldn't stay anywhere else in Portland!!!

Great home with easy access to everything

  • 4 of 5

My family loved staying at this home. It was clean, well-organized and stocked with all the essentials. Fantastic kitchen too. The yard is huge and my dogs and kids had so much fun exploring all around. The neighborhood feels semi-rural yet is close to Multnomah Village and downtown Portland. Fun!

Perfect for our family visit

  • 5 of 5

We were traveling with several of our young adult children and their small dog. The house was perfect for spending some quality time together, cooking some of our meals (great grocery store just down the street) and a large fenced back yard for the dog. It was also convenient for driving into the City. My wife especially appreciated the large laundry room.
