Barry is a retired pilot. He flew F15's in the USAF and then for Fed Ex. Suzette is a nurse and is managing an Orthopedic practice and surgery centers. We have 3 sons, 3 grandsons, and a granddaughter due in November 2015. We live in Florida, but we have some wonderful friends / caretakers that keep the cabin in tip top shape.
Suzette Gramm purchased this cabin in 2009
The house was owned by Suzette's sister who did many wonderful upgrades and initial decor of the cabin. We enjoyed many family vacations in the cabin and when my sister wanted to sell the cabin we purchased it to keep it in the family.
The view from the deck is unsurpassed in the area and the deck is the perfect place to enjoy a cup of coffee or glass of wine. Having lived in Florida so long, we really enjoy that we can enjoy all 4 seasons at the cabin. Townsend is on the "quiet side" of the mountain yet close enough to Knoxville, Gatlinburg, and Pigeon Forge to enjoy the "touristy" stuff and then come back to the cabin for relaxation and family time.
Thank you for the opportunity to rent your Townsend cabin on Nov. 7-9. I tried to do the review on the website but couldn't get it to scroll down. We would definitely rate our stay 5 stars. Our family of 11 loved the cabin. While we have always loved Townsend they always preferred to stay in Gatlinburg. When we were leaving they said they voted to make this place our annual birthday retreat. We hope we left everything in top shape.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Cedar Creek Manor.

The open floor plan and multiple bedrooms and baths were perfect for family and friends to relax and share time together. The back-of-the-house inclined walkway is perfect for elderly family members.
The Townsend location is perfect for visiting nearby Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, Cherokee and Maggie Valley. Easy access to town with local antique stores and other merchants. We thoroughly enjoyed our family vacation!
What a wonderful stay. The cabin was perfect!!! There were 4 adults and two kids. There was more then enough room. Thank you so much for sharing your cabin with us!
This house is very close to everything in Townsend. Lots of room and clean with great view of the mountains. I would stay there again and it's great if you take your dog with you bc their is lots of yard to take them out for a walk! Very clean and that is the most important !
This cabin is very nice and well maintained. The view is amazing any time of day! The proximity to town and surrounding areas was perfect - convenience of the amenities and extremely quiet in the evenings. The pictures do not do this home justice. Having two driving options to town made this cabin highly desirable on race day! Access to the pool at the country club was very nice, as we were the only guests in the pool in mid-September. We will definitely stay again!! ~WR, Oklahoma City, OK
Our second time at this wonderful property. The view is spectacular from the porch. Super close to the entrance of the national park. All the comforts of home plus. Spacious home with 5 bedrooms. Highly recommended!! Thanks for another great family reunion!
We have stayed at over 10 different properties in Townsend over the past 2 decades. Cedar Manor far surpasses every home. With 5 bedrooms and two self supporting different levels it handles different age groups. Our group had people in their 60's, 30's and an active 4-year-old. The bottom floor (walk-out basement) has 2 bedrooms, bathroom, small kitchen, pool and ping pong table, as well as a living area with big screen tv and a foosball table.
The upstairs has 3 bedrooms 2 baths and a large kitchen, dining room (table for 12) and living area. The front deck overlooks the mountains and off in the distance a herd of cows.
Townsend is the perfect base for groups of different desires. The hikers can be in the Smokies park in minutes. In 30 minutes you can sneak into Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg by a back route.
The country club, that you have access too has a beautiful pool and golf course overlooking the mountains.
As soon as we decide our week for nxt year we will be booking once again.
