About Glenn or Kelli

We moved to West Glacier in 1967 and lived there until my parents bought this very home from the Park in 1969 and moved it to it's current location. My Dad was employed with Glacier National Park as an Electrician in Communications. If you have ever read the book, 'The Night of the Grizzlies,' you would have read a couple pages about my Dad as he was working when the story took place. Having grown up here and embracing as much as there is to offer, I would LOVE to share my knowledge of our valley and perhaps help guide you to a fullfilled adventure during your stay.

Glenn or Kelli purchased this chateau / country house in 1969

Why Glenn or Kelli chose Glacier Park

This is home to us and we wanted to be able to share with others all our property has to offer with the change of all four seasons. Winter is SPECTACULAR with an average snow fall of 120'. Spring has it's very own life and beauty. Summer, what can we say; hiking, biking, lakes, the Park, golfing on at least 7 different courses. Fall is absolutely stunning with all the change of colors, hunting in the Rocky Mountains or just simply staying cozy by the fire with a book as the chill outside creates our grand scenery.

What makes this chateau / country house unique

A prime location only 20 minutes from Glacier International Airport. Our property is secluded, with a seasonal creek, large yard and horse shoe pits. We are surrounded with mature timber and mountian views, including various attractions and a ton of recreation. Within a 10 mile radius you have the Amazing Fun Center, Great Bear Adventure, House of Mystry to experience a Montana vortex, Glacier National Park, Big Sky Water Slides, Rafting Adventures, Hungry Horse Damn & Recreation Area, Belton Train Depot... A few ideas for you...with many more right out your back door.

Excellent choice for our stay.

  • 5 of 5

We were extremely pleased with our stay at the Coram Creek Cabin. These were our key points:

1) The cabin was exactly as advertised. Nothing could be more disappointing than to make a reservation and arrive to find it not to be what was expected. This was not the case with Coram Cabin - it more than met our expectations.

2) The cabin was very clean and comfortable. My wife mentioned this several times during our stay - she was impressed with how clean and neat the cabin was.

3) The cabin was private yet convenient. We were visiting Glacier National Park each day of our visit. The convenience to the park entrance (approximately 7 miles) was a big plus for us. And although not far off the main highway it was still very private. This made it a great place to relax after a long day in the park.

4) The cabin was well equipped. We found it had everything we needed during our stay. The washer and dryer were a big plus for us.

5) The responsiveness of Kelli and Glenn. I contacted Kelli on several occasions leading up to our stay. She was always very responsive and helpful. The instructions and process for access were perfect and made our arrival very easy.

6) And the apple pie. I could not write a review without mentioning the apple pie waiting for us upon our arrival. It was an added and very appreciate welcoming treat!

In summary, we would stay here again with no hesitation and highly recommend it to others.

Very Nice Accomodations

  • 4 of 5

We enjoyed our stay in Coram. The house is just a few minutes from the entrance to Glacier. There are shops, restaurants and gas in West Glacier. The house is well layed out and has pretty much everything we needed. We were disappointed that we didn't get to use the grill due to the fire ban. The only drawback was we could hear the trains all night.

Excellent stay near Glacier

  • 5 of 5

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Glacier is fabulous and this was a relaxing, cozy, well equipment home. We had everything we needed and many thoughtful touches. I would suggest adding some kleenex boxes. My husband LOVED the pie!! The maps and guidebooks were very helpful.

The perfect cabin getaway near Glacier!

  • 5 of 5

Our family (4 adults, 2 kids) stayed for a week this summer at the Coram Creek Cabin and absolutely loved the place. The cabin is spacious, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It was our first visit to the Glacier area, and we were a bit concerned when arrived and realized the cabin did not have air conditioning, especially with daytime temps in the 90's. However, to our surprise, the cabin stayed very comfortable during the day, and then we opened up the windows at night to enjoy the cool mountain air--ahhhhh! Kelli and Glenn are awesome hosts too. We discovered a minor leak in the shower floor the first day. So, I messaged Kelli. Glenn was on it quickly and fixed it while we were out exploring the park. And, while we were out, Glenn also split a bunch of wood for us to enjoy the great little fire pit out back!

If we ever get back out to Glacier, I hope to rent Kelli and Glenn's cabin again!
