About Roxane Fields
We are a family of avid fishermen and musicians that enjoy the outdoors. We visited the area to see Yellowstone National Park and fish. While fishing at Henrys Lake, we discovered this home for sale. We have enjoyed working on the home, designing the remodel, and creating many of the custom furnishings.
Roxane Fields purchased this House in 2010
Why Roxane Fields chose Island Park
Being fishermen, we have rented many lakefront properties. This home and its location took our breath away. Initially the home had a floor plan problem that was remodeled in the winter of 2010. We love sitting on the steps facing the lake and purchased a custom log bench to enjoy that view. We feel privileged to own such a beautiful home.
What makes this House unique
Guests tell us that the bench on the deck is one of the most peaceful places. Months later, they tell us that they still think about the moments spent there. The fire pit is also a time where groups enjoy closeness that is rarely found in our busy lives. The home is close enough to supermarkets to get needed supplies, yet far enough away to feel secluded, with only the sounds of nature. With no outside lights in the area, the light from the stars and moon are breathtaking. Many of the furnishings are custom made using antique components, providing a level of quality that is rarely found in a vacation rental. The animal life still surprises us. One day the deck light turned on to reveal a red fox. Another day looking out a window early one morning, we noticed a herd of elk walking through the property grounds. I keep trying to get a picture of the quick short-tailed weasel, keeping the mice under control in the spring. The latest hatch of goslings and ducklings are fun to watch as they eat the backyard grass in the spring. In the fall, we have seen muskrats chase ducks around the property ponds.

This is the second time I have stayed here. The first time was with a group of guys for our annual fishing trip. I loved it so much, I came back with the kids. The fishing was great and the kids had a blast. This is easily my favorite property I've rented at Henry's Lake.
Henry’s Lake Cabin
Great overall experience. Owner was great, location was great, and cabin was very nice
We had such a great time. House and area are beautiful. Easy access to Yellowstone and we enjoyed Island Park and Ennis as well.
Thanks for everything!
Exceeded my expectations!
The home and location are absolutely wonderful! Roxanne gave us very useful tips regarding Yellowstone, Henry's Lake, and the surrounding areas related to sightseeing, hiking, food, guided tours, etc. etc. We had a great time and I highly recommend staying at this beautiful property. I'm looking forward to going back myself!
Amazing Family Vacation
We had 12 of us staying here for a family trip to Yellowstone and Grand Teton's! This house was perfect for all 12 of us. The kitchen was fully stocked with all of the utensils you would ever want. The view was amazing and we even had a bull moose visit 2 nights we were there. That was probably the most spectacular part of the trip. Would love to go back again soon.
Located just 20 minutes from the West entrance of Yellowstone National Park and West Yellowstone, Montana. We are also 5 minutes from the continental divide. If you like to fish and want to bring your boat or rent one, this is the place for you, because there is a private marina with boat launch nearby for your use. This home is perfect for a mix of interests from shopping and sightseeing to outdoor adventures of many kinds. Within an hour drive white water rafting and zip line across a river are available.
