Red Stag Lodge #301: This top floor, corner condo is a lower Deer Valley getaway, a two bedroom, three bath fully equipped mini-ski lodge steps from the ski lifts at the base of Deer Valley. It enjoys an abundance of windows and natural light. A floor-to-ceiling rock wall and impressive mantle accent the convenient gas fireplace. Tall windows bring the beautiful mountains views indoors into the spacious family room. The pine paneled walls and vaulted ceilings make this your own personal ski lodge. After a day of skiing you can relax in your own hot tub ( new 2016) on a private porch outside the family room/dining room area.

The Red Stag Lodge/RSL was built as a boutique hotel in 2002 in time for the Winter Olympics then converted to Condos in 2007. We have garage parking and our top floor unit is accessible via an elevator. This is an intimate Lodge with unique common areas. In the Red Stag Lodge - Unit #301 is the only individually owned Condo with tall windows with transoms and a vaulted ceiling in the family room area allowing for beautiful mountain views and natural light. This Condo also has free WiFi and it's own password controlled private router.

A free bus service is available within 100 feet of our front door which will take you anywhere in Park City. Historic Main Street in Old Town is less than 5 minutes away with all of it's shops and restaurants. Just off Main street you can catch the Town Lift to Park City Mountain resort for snowboarding and skiing.

Amazing Deer Valley Vacation

Just back from a long weekend and our first trip to Deer Valley. Bruce and Jenny's condo exceeded our expectations. We found it to be much bigger than the impression from the pictures, it was exceptionally clean and well maintained. The hot tub was an excellent treat after long days on the slopes and the view of the mountains over morning coffee was perfect. The walk to the slopes was super short and it's so easy to get into Park City with the free bus service. Bruce and Jenny were available to answer all of our questions before the trip and the entire experience was amazing. We're hoping to go back every year and can't recommend this condo more. You won't be disappointed.

Beautiful condo within walking distance to the lifts. We couldn't ask for more.

The condo was wonderful. Our family of 5 was very comfortable and the kids loved the hot tub.

My only complaint would be the laundry situation. Because the staff has to wash the linens in house things get very backed up. My daughters said it was just like a college laundry room

Great Location and view near the Snow Park Lodge

Our family of 5 stayed a week over Christmas. The location was an easy stroll to the lodge for skiing. The hot tub was very nice and hit the spot after a day on the slopes. The view was beautiful from the extra large windows in the great room area. The living area furniture is super comfy and the queen sleeper sofa is excellent.

It has a very nice split plan with the bedrooms allowing nice privacy. The 3rd bathroom was a nice extra.

This is a top notch rental. The only updates/upgrades it really needs is in the kitchen: a fresh non-broken full set of kitchen and cooking utensils, fresh pots, pans, glassware and dish ware. Cooking is really necessary with kids over the holidays when the restaurants are so crowded. Plus it saves money to spend on much needed ski school lessons.

Items for the wish list would be TVs with better sound. But I hope no one goes to hang in front of the TV.

This is a very nice unit and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. I highly recommend it.

Excellent location - an easy walk to Deer Valley lifts

Fantastic location. 3 minute walk to Deer Valley Snow Park lifts. Easy to get to Main Street either via free bus or 6 minute car ride. Unit is perfect for family of four (or five). Highly recommend for convenience to everything in Park City / Deer Valley. It appears the Unit gets a lot of use during the season, I recommend for the owner’s to perform a deep cleaning of carpets and to update the bedding linens/pillows. I would stay here again!

After the ski season and summer/fall guest visits are finished, as part of our routine maintenance, we have a check list of tasks to get ready for the upcoming ski season. For example, our property manager always does a shampoo of the carpets along with replacing all the batteries ( tv remotes, door lock codes, thermostat, etc) in the unit. We look forward to having you back!

About Bruce & Jenny

Our family spent 15 years skiing and owning a property in the Aspen/Snowmass Village area of Colorado. We enjoyed the area but grew tired of having our flights into and out of Aspen canceled on a regular basis due to bad weather.

After five trips to Park City/ Deer Valley we discovered the Red Stag Lodge and immediately purchased Unit #301 which we now use as our 2nd home.

We discovered that we could easily access the SLC airport and be on the slopes within 40 minutes. Better yet was the outstanding skiing and well deserved reputation of Deer Valley being the #1 ski resort in North America. We also enjoy the year round sports activities, friendly people, great dining, Sundance film festival and weekly summer concerts located at the base of Deer Valley. All of these amenities are within steps of our door.

We hope you enjoy our home as much as we do and have a wonderful stay!

Why Bruce & Jenny chose Deer Valley

The Red Stag Lodge in lower Deer Valley was a boutique hotel built in 2002 with only 11 units. It's within steps of so many activities. It's only a 3 to 4 minute walk to the base of Deer Valley / Snow Park Day Lodge. The St Regis Hotel is our neighbor and a great place for apres ski drinks or dinner. Main Street in Old Town, where many of the best restaurants and shops are located, is only 5 minutes away via a free bus service.

What makes this condo unique

The RSL #301 is a unique unit in a former boutique hotel built in 2002. Its on the top floor in the front of the building on the left side. It's the only individually owned Condo at the Red Stag Lodge with tall windows including transoms and cathedral ceilings in the family room. Beautiful mountains views of both Park City to the north and the base of Deer Valley to our immediate south. Our Condo is only a 3 to 4 minute walk to the base of Deer Valley / Snow Park Day Lodge where you can rent ski equipment in the winter (or bikes during the summer). Also ski school and ski lifts are there as well. During the summer months there are weekly concerts under the stars performed by some of the biggest names in the music industry.
