About this property

Location, Location, Location! You cant beat it! Sitting high on top of the amazing North Creek Mosaic Project! The PERFECT Apres' Ski destination. Right in the heart of the greatly improved village of North Creek. This quaint Victorian cottage is just steps away from the ever popular Cafe' Sarah on Main Street, as well as the Bar Vino Wine Bar, restaurants and shopping, all are just a very short walk from our home (Save on GAS). Enjoy unwinding here after a long day on the slopes, whether it's a long soak in the jetted tub, a soothing massage on the upstairs massage table or just overlooking the village from your perch on the wrap around porch! Come here to RELAX!

Other close by attractions: In addition to downhill skiing, cross country trails are close by, or a short drive to many miles of trails at Garnet Lake. The village is also home to the Ride the Rails Excursion, many white water rafting companies, hiking trails, kayaking and the Barton Garnet Mines. Don't miss the train museum at the depot!

The House: This Queen Ann Cottage features three bedrooms, one has two full size beds and a smart TV, one has a queen size bed, and a smart TV, and the other has a bunk beds, and a full sized bed. All are on the second floor. There are also two full baths, one of which has a whirlpool tub. There is a fully equipped kitchen that is open to the dinning room, a living room with cable and smart TV. There is also a laundry/mud room for all your gear, and a beautiful wrap around porch with chairs to enjoy the view of Main Street and the mountains. If you like architecture, this house has plenty of details to enjoy, from the quarter sawn oak staircase with oak paneled walls, to the stained glass windows or the beautiful inlaid parquet floors and the antique coal burning fireplace (please burn artificial logs only).

Great Place close to Gore

The home was warm, clean & well stocked. It's less than 10 minutes to Gore and within walking distance of a supermarket. The town of North Creek was a neat little Adirondack town, we can't wait to go back!

A very disappointing vacation rental!

This property needs major work and maintenance. Steps from road up to house are not lit at night. The first thing you are hit with is the overwhelming smell of mold. It is dimly lit on the first floor. There is clutter everywhere. The Christmas decor has obviously been up too long and is filled with dust. My husband and I got stuck in the master bedroom. The door had shut and only has a latch, no door knob. My husband had to pry the door open with 2 hands. Toaster oven was filled with crumbs. We were all pretty grossed out. Also no way to open windows on first floor as they were all covered in bubble wrap. Thank goodness we were mostly visiting our friends during the day and only had to be there at night to sleep. At least we could open the windows and turn on fan upstairs.

Great Place and Great Location

Very nostalgic place nestled in the heart of old town Americana North Creek...this was a ski weekend for us and it was an easy 10 minute drive to Gore and we loved being able to walk to restaurants and shopping in North Creek...also loved the character of the house

Annual Family Ski Trip

This property was wonderful. So close to Gore Mountain. Right in town. Just steps from the grocery store and restaurants and bars. The house was comfortable and cozy. We enjoyed our stay.
