About Sandy Yates
I grew up in Lewiston and love this unique border town so steeped in rich history. Lewiston is a little hamlet very close to Niagara Falls and was burned down in the War of 1812.. I know everything about this area , past and present and love interacting with my guests. I try very hard to not only welcome them but am intent on learning and guiding them to having the best vacation they could possibly have.
Sandy Yates purchased this House in 2008
Why Sandy Yates chose Youngstown
This is a wonderful property. The neighborhood is so quiet and friendly. It is only 3 streets of small houses and cottages with the wonder of Lake Ontario, right there in your back yard. Ot os a very special place and one can't help but bond and relax while there. It is so close to all the action, but yet it is wonderful to come home to peace and tranquility. !
What makes this House unique
There are so many benefits, it is hard to know where to start. The lake front is just. a few steps away from the house. Although it is private to only the residents of this small community, it is like having your own private lake because there is seldom anyone at the lakefront. There is a wonderful spacious living room with a wrap around couch that is so perfect for visiting with family and friends. I love dogs and even offer an extra service in which I can watch your dog with tender loving care, if you decide to take a long day trip to Canada or elsewhere. .

Awesome quiet place!
My husband I brought our 3 children here. We felt right at home as soon as walked into the door. Sandy made sure we had everything we needed and she made an awesome host! She even left some homemade cookies for my kiddos! The area is very quiet and we lived being able to see Lake Ontario. It is an easy 25 minute drive to Niagara Falls. The Fort Niagara is 3 minutes from the house. Which was amazing! We will consider this house if we are in the area again.
Had an enjoyable stay. Nice and quiet location. Looking forward to a return visit!
Quiet place far enough from hustle and bustle but still close
The owner has great communication, the house is in a great spot. Quiet neighborhood and an amazing town.
Charming, adorable cottage with a hostess to match!
Everything you need for your stay is located in this adorable cottage. The view of the lake is spectacular! Very quiet neighborhood and the hostess, Sandy really goes above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable. We would definitely stay again. 🙌
Wonderful retreat on the shore of Lake Ontario!
We spent 5 wonderful nights in Sandy's beach house. The house had everything we needed make our stay stress-free. We were able to host family traveling with us from out of town, we had everything we needed for a cookout and bonfire. We also received welcome gifts our first day there from Sandy and she was also incredibly attentive to any need we had. She was also nice enough to let us know that the house was ready ahead of time so we were able to spend an additional night which was incredibly helpful since we were getting married while there! Overall the experience was magnificent, the view of Lake Ontario was breathtaking and we CANNOT wait to go back again! :)
Had a great time in Youngstown. Arrived to find a delicious coffee cake from Sandy. Ironically we couldn't find the bakery on our way there and what a nice surprise. The house had everything needed for a wonderful time to go to Niagara Falls and explore the many hiking trails in the surrounding area. A must see and do for all. Will definitely consider coming back soon! Anna
