Enjoy Beautiful Sunsets on Quiet 500-acre North Nokomis Lake

Fall in love with the Northwoods! We provide a comfortable, restful place to escape from the hustle and bustle of the busy everyday life. Make lasting memories by boating, fishing, paddle boating, kayaking or simply hanging out at the beach and swimming! Spend the evenings relaxing around the campfire, toasting marshmallows and exchanging stories about your day. Located on a "well-kept secret," North Nokomis Lake is unpopulated and offers an abundance of wooded state land. This means you have plenty of room to enjoy your outdoor activities in peace.

This large, beautiful knotty pine cabin has two bedrooms, each with a queen-sized bed. The living room also features a pullout couch. The large, lakeside windows open in the kitchen, dining, and living areas to let in plenty of sunshine and lake breeze. Sit back and enjoy a relaxing afternoon reading a favorite book in the screened porch, in anticipation of the beautiful sunsets with perfect west-ward views. Roast marshmallows over the campfire, fish off your private pier, and prepare your meals using our charcoal grill or fully furnished kitchen! Enjoy the TV with DVD player/antenna and wifi on those days where you need a break from all the nature!

The lake is 476 acres, spring fed, fishing lake, measuring 73 feet deep, with a boat landing. Fish for Walleye, Northern Pike, Small and Large Mouth Bass, and Bluegills. A fishing boat, a paddleboat, and kayaks are included in your rental to allow you to enjoy the beautiful lake to the fullest!

This cabin is fully furnished, including a coffee pot with filters, microwave, blankets, sheets and pillows. You will need to bring all towels, dish clothes, paper products, food, charcoal etc. Please see our policies for the full list of items that we provide, and the list of items you are encouraged to bring to ensure your trip is unforgettable!

We allow one, small friendly dog at the North Nokomis Lodge at an additional rate of $25/night + tax. Please ensure the pup is kenneled while you are away and all droppings are picked up prior to your departure.

The cabin is located less that 5 miles away from St. Germain and 8 miles from Lake Tomahawk, 15 miles to Minocqua. We offer week-long rentals (Saturday to Saturday).

Off The Grid Cottage
The cottage is exactly as represented in the posting. The screened in porch overlooks the lake and is great for early morning coffee or late evening viewing. The only criticism is how off the grid it actually is....we had very limited and intermittent cell phone access (Verizon) and there is no wifi. As I had to work during our stay that presented issues for me...driving the 15 miles to town was not feasible on a regular basis. For those looking to be off-the-grid, this cottage is your answer! If you need access, look elsewhere.

Our stay on North Nokomis Lake
The cabin was well kept up. The beds were comfortable. The grill was in good shape. The lake, loons, eagles and wild life were wonderful to see. The added kayaks, padfle boat and row boat make this stay even better as it allows you to explore the lake without having to go find and get a rental. Only anout 12 minutes from St Germain and 30 from Eagle River. Also a nice drive over to Minoqua!

Peaceful and quiet getaway on the lake
We spent the week of the fourth at the cabin. Communication with Sean and Jason were great. Jason stopped in when we got there and introduced himself. That was the only time we saw him which was fine because we had no issues!! The cabin was perfect for our family of three. Swimming by the dock was great. Nice and shallow all the way out for our daughter to swim. We caught plenty of fish off the dock too. Location was ideal. Just a short drive to St. Germain, Eagle River and Minocqua. The only cons of the cabin and the reason for four stars instead of five was due to the cabin lacking a few items and the overall cleanliness. A few more cooking items would have been nice. The cabin was clean, but we could tell items on the wall and a few other things hadn't been cleaned in a while. Overall this is an excellent cabin for a small family or couple. We would definitely stay there again!!

Cute cozy cabin!
We loved this cozy cabin for our week long stay! It has everything one needs for a great week. Our only problem was that Mother Nature did not cooperate! Thank goodness for the screen porch. It made it all so much better than it could have been!
