Berkshire Treasure

Property was fantastic, great location convenient to All sites! The Vrbo pics don’t do the home justice, much cozier with all conveniences of home. Definitely would recommend a stay at this property!

Secluded, Quiet, and Well Stocked

Nancy's house in the woods is spacious and well appointed. The kitchen is gorgeous and well stocked. We only wish that washcloths had been provided.

Perfect place!

Three adult couples who are old friends stayed for a weekend to reconnect and attend a concert at Tanglewood. We all love to cook and listen to music, so this was the perfect house! Very well-equipped kitchen and a speaker system we could play music from, using our devices. It was so convenient having linens provided and saved us from having to bring them all. Great location to quickly get into Great Barrington, go to Tanglewood, or even hike nearby. Wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the screened in porch or back patio. So much living space, and the type of setup where we could all gather and enjoy the time together, but still have separate bathrooms and our own spacious bedrooms. Nancy was awesome to work with and we appreciated all of the details of the home from the great appliances to the cool decor. This house is a gem! Hope to get back there again in the future!

Perfect Berkshire getaway

Wonderful stay at the house for a long weekend! Our group included two couples and four children. We were very comfortable because of the house layout and number of bedrooms/bathrooms. We enjoyed staying at the house, playing games, barbecuing, etc. as well as visiting nearby towns for shopping and lunch out. The entire house is beautifully decorated! Nancy was a fantastic host and provided all the information needed to facilitate a wonderful weekend.

Great get away house

From the reservation process to the checkout, this property was awesome. The house was perfect for the small family celebration we had planned. Comfortable house with old world charm and modern conveniences. Definitely would stay again!

This is our home away from home. After working long and hard all week we look forward to heading up to GB to 'chill'. Sometimes our weekends are filled with fun- skiing, concerts, hiking, ice fishing, hiking and other times we relax in front of the fire or on the screened in porch and read or play board games. I hope you will enjoy our home as much as we do!

Why they chose this property

We chose the Berkshires for our second home after vacationing in the area for years. We started out as campers , and graduated to renters and finally to homeowners! We didn't buy the house to rent , but for our family to use. As life became busier and my daughter got older, we made it up less and less. We felt sad that our beautiful home wasn't being used as much and hoped that other families like ours would like to enjoy the area as we do!

What makes this property unique

We enjoy being so close to Monument Mountain and often walk the dog up on the trails. A quick 5 minute car ride and we are ready to hit the slopes at Ski Butternut or shop on Railroad St. in town. If you like star gazing, you will love laying on the hammock and watching the shooting stars on warm summer evenings. If you enjoy apple pie- Taft Farms has the BEST and it is a short walk down the road!
