Cadillac Area Lakefront Cottage with Boat - All Season

This newly renovated lakefront cottage offers an affordable family vacation on a quiet private lake (Stone Ledge Lake) near Cadillac. This all-sports lake is large enough for skiing and jet skis, but small enough (no public access) to limit the number of large boats. The lake offers good fishing for large-mouth bass, northern pike and panfish. A rowboat and paddleboat are included. We're proud to report that our family of Loons has returned this year and offer great viewing and relaxing sounds. We also see the bald eagles regularly. The lake at the cottage has a sandy bottom and is good for swimming. Enjoy beautiful sunsets from the lakeside deck and reconnect with your family and friends around the lakeside campfire (wood is provided).

The cottage is clean and comfortable. The kitchen is fully furnished. You just need to bring your own food. Guests are expected to clean the cottage when leaving and leave it in the same condition that they find it.

The cottage is close to Cadillac with convenient shopping, restaurants and various tourists attractions. There are 10 golf courses within 25 miles and 4 separate casinos within 75 miles of the cottage. Lake Michigan beaches are only 50 miles away (Manistee) and the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore, Leelanau Pennisula, Traverse City and Petoskey areas make convenient day trips.

The Cadillac area also offers a vast network of paved and unpaved trails for biking and hiking. We are located in the Manistee National Forest for hiking and hunting adventures. We are close to world-class trout streams and rivers. Great lakes charter fishing is also a popular choice.

Great week

Great place to stay! One if the best furnished kitchens we've had through VRBO. Assortment if dinnerware, pots and pans, cookie sheets, cake pans, crock pot and lots of leftover storage containers. Bed was comfy. Nice assortment of movies. Nice picnic table and patio table and chairs on back deck. Eric was very friendly and helpful.

A Great Vacation Destination

The cottage was clean, comfortable and on a beautiful lake. The property manager was attentive and knew the area well. The perfect place for us to kayak, walk our dogs and relax.

We also live on beautiful Stoneledge Lake and purchased this vacation rental to offer a place for friends and relatives to stay when they come to visit. This is our only rental property and we are proud of the long list of repeat renters that have enjoyed the lake over the years, as we have also.

Since there is no public access, the lake is generally very quiet and peaceful. A great place to relax. You will watch the sun set over the lake from your lakefront deck, or from the fishing boat, and then enjoy the perfect ending to your day around the campfire reconnecting with family and friends.
