About the property

2 Bedrooms + Convertible bed(s), 2.5 Baths (Sleeps 4-6)

When this home was renovated in 2008, no expense was spared to upgrade and decorate this house with every amenity. Cherry hardwood cabinets with stainless appliances and accents, granite counter tops, gas stove and glass block tile backsplashes makes this kitchen a gourmet chef's delight. And cozy too with heated tile floors! Open living area features hardwood floors, all new furniture and additional sleeping on a pull-out queen sleep sofa. Half bath and full washer/dryer on the main level. Upstairs are two bedrooms with full baths, one with a king bed and one with a queen. A private yard with patio and grill are the finishing touches on this well-appointed home, designed with your comfort in mind.

Parking is easy on this quiet one-way street. Arrangements can be made in advance for your parking passes ($5/day per car), and I will have them ready for you on the kitchen counter for your arrival.

About Owner/Manager, Marie Dall'Acqua

I love doing house renovations, and have done several in the Historic Annapolis area! Rather than sell them, I like to renovate then rent them for short term rentals. You get to enjoy the benefits of a gorgeous new home in the heart of one of the most beautiful historic districts you will find!

Owner/Manager, Marie Dall'Acqua purchased this house in 2007

Why Owner/Manager, Marie Dall'Acqua chose Historic District

I bought the property because it was a disaster! On the existing footprint, I was able to build a full new house on the interior while maintaining the historic character of the exterior.

What makes this house unique

You just can't beat the location of this house. It is so close to all that Annapolis has to offer, but on a quite one-way side street with easy parking!

It was great

  • 5 of 5

We had the best stay at this property. It was right in the middle of downtown and convienient today everywhere we wanted to go. The house is very nice and comfortable as well. The owner was great and very quick to respond to any questions we had.

Perfect for Commissioning Week

  • 5 of 5

Perfect rental for Commissioning Week. It was a 0.7 mile walk to Gate 3 and we were able to leave our car parked most of the week. Parking was much easier than I anticipated. The surrounding streets are not as highly traveled as others, and we had no trouble finding parking spots within a block or two of the house, and often parked within the block of the house. Graul's grocery & Naval Bagel also within a quick 5 minute drive. Graduation was the only event we had to drive to, and going the back way via West St. was quick and easy. Our Mid stayed with us for the week and the couch in the front room was perfect for him, as he often came in late after visiting with fellow grads throughout the week. The kitchen had everything we needed for the week, with the exception of a grill brush which we bought before using the gas grill in the backyard. The backyard was less appealing than in the photos though, and we didn't spend any time out there. Homewowner was readily available throughout the week when we had two occasions to contact her. Overall, the house was perfect for the 4 of us, and we were thankful to be so close to downtown Annapolis and besides being able to walk easily to the Yard, it was fun to enjoy downtown bars and restaurants and not be concerned about finding parking.

The house was in a great location, modern, clean, and had everything we needed!

  • 5 of 5

The only suggestion I have would be to add blinds to the window in the front door since the couch is used as a bed to sleep a full 6 people.

Annapolis Gem

  • 5 of 5

Absolutely wonderful house to stay in Annapolis. Just off on a side street in a quaint quiet neighborhood but yet so close to everything. Two blocks from it all. Perfect house for 2 couples each having their own bedroom and bathroom. Beautifully appointed and updated. The kitchen is fabulous. Sweet little backyard to relax in after a day of sightseeing and shopping. Marie (our host) had all the instructions regarding the house and parking passes too! Highly recommend this home!!!
