About the property

2 Bedrooms + Convertible bed(s), 2.5 Baths (Sleeps 4-6)

When you come to Annapolis for a weekend, week or a few months, think about your choices. Stay in one of our fine hotel rooms. You can rent an available owners home and sleep in a room with Timmy's stuffed animals. Or, stay in a home that has recently undergone a total renovation from the inside out, designed with the discriminating visitor in mind.

When this home was renovated in 2008, no expense was spared to upgrade and decorate this house with every amenity. Cherry hardwood cabinets with stainless appliances and accents, granite countertops and glass block tile backsplashes makes this kitchen a gourmet chef's delight. And cozy too with heated tile floors! Open living area features hardwood floors, all new furniture and additional sleeping on a pull-out queen sleep sofa. Half bath and full washer/dryer on the main level. Upstairs are two bedrooms with full baths, one with a king bed and one with a queen. A private yard with patio and grill are the finishing touches on this well-appointed home, designed with your comfort in mind.

Parking is easy on this quiet one-way street. Arrangements can be made in advance for your parking passes, or they may be picked up from the City of Annapolis Offices, one block away.

About Owner/Manager, Marie Dall'Acqua

I love doing house renovations, and have done several in the Historic Annapolis area! Rather than sell them, I like to renovate then rent them for short term rentals. You get to enjoy the benefits of a gorgeous new home in the heart of one of the most beautiful historic districts you will find!

Owner/Manager, Marie Dall'Acqua purchased this house in 2007

Why Owner/Manager, Marie Dall'Acqua chose Annapolis

I bought the property because it was a disaster! On the existing footprint, I was able to build a full new house on the interior while maintaining the historic character of the exterior.

Great location to take advantage of historic downtown Annapolis. Comfortable 2 bedroom house on a quiet street. Good seating area to relax and warm and inviting kitchen to entertain.

Great Annapolis location and super accomodations

  • 5 of 5

One of the best VRBO homes we have stayed in. You are right in the main area of Annapolis for eating and shopping. It's literally a 3-5 minute walk. Maybe 10-15 to the Naval Academy. The house is very nice and has a great kitchen. Parking is interesting for sure, but we were there over Christmas so it was not too bad. There is a large parking deck just around the corner so you can always get a spot there for $20 a day.

If you are coming by plane to Annapolis, you dont really even need a car. You can pretty much walk the entire town easily.

Army - Navy Weekend 2016

  • 5 of 5

We had two couples for a long weekend and this place was perfect. Great instructions, all the basics you would need, plenty of room, within walking distance to everything - even in cold weather. We will definitely stay again.

Hospitality plus!

  • 5 of 5

We were delighted by this home. Our "siblings' long weekend" was easily facilitated by the available space for group discussions and individual contemplation. Having two on-suites allows for ultimate privacy for each couple, and the half bath downstairs is simply icing on the cake.

I sense that most vacationing families regularly eat out - we, however, choose to make family meals. It was a welcome surprise to see basic, often-forgotten provisions in the cupboard. The kitchen is adequately equipped with cookware, but more drinking glasses would be appreciated.

Hidden behind appliance garages are a microwave, toaster, and coffeepot.

Avoid Ram's Head Tavern. At the time of this writing, there were serious issues in the kitchen - my meal and a meal from the table behind us were returned, and both times our waiter was required to request permission of the manager in order to correct the problems. The crab meat isn't fresh - it is frozen, and its country of origin is Mexico. Imagine - seafood from Mexico in an establishment blocks from the Chesapeake Bay! I didn't bother inquiring about where they sourced their prawns.

Don't pass up Ruth & Chick's! Americana at its finest. Every morning, everything stops for the Pledge of Allegiance. Typical diner fare, as well as spectacular donuts and pies.

This home is within walking distance of the Naval Academy (where picture ID is required for entrance), the harbor, and multiple dining establishments.

Parking is tight in all the residential areas. If possible, bring only one car; otherwise, use a parking garage for storage of other vehicles. BWI is an easy highway drive and a mere 30-45 minutes away!

Without reservation, we would recommend this home for two couples. We hope to return in the fall of 2017 so we can enjoy the change of leaves.

Location, location, location.

  • 4 of 5

This is a wonderful old two story house in the heart of Annapolis. The restaurants and shops downtown are all within walking distance. We cooked Thanksgiving dinner in the well equipped kitchen. The two bedrooms, each with their own bathroom, provide plenty of space for two couples. T he property was as promised. The only drawback is the parking; there is only on-street. However, a parking spot was always available nearby. Be sure to ask Marie to get you an Annapolis parking permit.

Great spot in a good location near main st.

  • 5 of 5

This 2 bedroom home is on a tight tree lined little street a couple blocks from the bustling main st area.....where there is abundant eating, drinking, and shopping available. With all the amenities of home, you can easily make it yours. If we make it back to Annapolis someday in the future, we would definitely look to rent this location again.

-plenty of wine glasses

-tight parking

-parking cost should be included in rate
