This apartment is in a great location. This unit is a 10 minute walk to/from the Woodley/National Zoo metro station and 15 minute walk to DuPont Circle metro station. There is also a bus stop is 100 feet from the apartment. This unit is located next to numerous restaurants, shops and exciting night clubs. Our apartment is located in the heart of Adams Morgan neighborhood, right off 18th Street NW and Calvert St NW, and a few blocks from the Woodley Park Metro Station and the National Zoo. In this vibrant, cosmopolitan, neighborhood, you will find some of the city's finest restaurants, historic homes as well as an array of unique bookstores, and Washington's largest concentration of art displays. This perfect location provides many walking destinations; White House, The National Mall, The National Zoo, DuPont Circle neighborhood, Kalorama Triangle, and many others. The bus stop is exactly 100 feet from the apartment and that alone can take you to many destinations in the city.
There's a great variety of shopping options within walking distance; boutiques, small local stores and arts and craft shops.
The downtown sightseeing is just a few minutes away on the metro; about 15 minutes walk. This unit is about 1 mile from the White House and the National Mall. Metro just a few minutes away, and the bus stop is right outside the unit. We are also in walking distance to number of sites.

We have 2 daughters who are grown and are on their own ( not really, if you are a parent you know) and a 14 pound Schnoodle ( he thinks he is a giant). We have been living in the DC metro area for about 36 years and absolutely love it. Washington DC is a beautiful city, it really is and for people coming here to spend their vacations or attend conferences, weddings, funerals (The Arlington Cemetery), graduations, sight seeing, festivals etc. etc. there isn't any city that offers so much.
I manage the properties and Ana tells me what to do (!!!) We are a great team and enjoy doing what we do.

Very close to many attractions and very easy to get around with the Walk Score of 97 you know you are in the Walker's Paradise. No cars needed but we do have an off street parking space if needed. This is a very clean and modern 2 bedroom basement unit with easy entrance from Calvert Street.
The proximity to many attraction, restaurants and bars makes this unit quite unique.

The location was great for food, transportation, and getting to a conference nearby. The space was also just right for the four of us, and communication with the managers was easy. We enjoyed our stay here!
We had a very good experience. Our family was in town for a DC vacation and spent the bulk of our daytime downtown. We were a 10 minute walk from the Woodley Park metro station. If we were in a morning rush, it was a $10 Lyft ride to the White House.
We were pleased with the amenities. You are in a basement flat, so you can expect to hear the upstairs neighbors during normal waking hours. We slept good, but the beds are really firm.
Communication with the host was very good. We had all the basics needed for cleaning dishes and clothes. The hosts also checked in via email regularly to see if we needed anything.
I was very happy with our stay and would recommend it to anyone.
The perfect place to get away from expensive hotels. very clean, well-maintained. Everything one would need in a kitchen. Close to grocery, restaurants, park, hiking in rock creek, few blocks to metro and zoo! Truly a home away from home.
The place was great. Prefect location. Great neighborhood and Allen was very helpful. I would definitely stay here again.
The location was good for us. The space was fine, but were not told that it was a basement. The floor had some water issues that need to be addressed. The upstairs people did NOT follow the rule on being quite from 9am and again at 9pm. That was the only issue with noise and running and stomping from 6:30 am until almost 10am. We called and that just seemed to make it worse.

This unit is a 12 minute walk from the Woodley Park-Zoo metro station. The National Mall is a twenty minute car ride, 30 minute metro ride, and a one hour walk away from the unit. There are two grocery stores (Harris Teeter and Safeway) around the corner from the unit (5 -10 minutes walk) as well as CVS drugstores.
