Wonderful out of town getaway within Saguaro National park.

  • 5 of 5

The Bunkhouse is a perfect desert home away from the city. The location is ideal for hiking the Tucson Mountain range, the Saguaro National parks, and for sight seeing. Lou and Ozzie make the stay comfortable in every way. For those wanting complete privacy Lou and Ozzie make sure you are not disturbed...but for those wanting a more social experience Lou and Ozzie are great to hang out with for conversation or hiking or gathering recommendations. The Bunkhouse is well equipped , comfortable and clean. There is more than enough storage and closet space. The office area is a great space for anyone who needs to stay connected for business. The landscaping is a relaxing oasis. Orange and grapefruit trees stand right outside your door. And a huge front porch awaits you for morning coffee...quiet dinners...sunsets...or just kicking back. The internet worked well for our business and pleasure requirements.

We would highly recommend The Bunkhouse for a Tucson home away experience. We plan to return.

Would recommend this bunkhouse to anyone. Lou and Oz were wonderful Host's. The fresh Grapefruit and oranges were such a treat.

The area was just perfect for hiking and golfing or just relaxing on the bunkhouse porch.

Great place for our hiking home base

  • 4 of 5

The perfect place to be away from the bustle of the city and access dozens of hiking trails, literally just momonts away. The Bunkhouse was clean, well-equipped for our 4-night stay, and the neighborhood was quiet and serene. Only very minor issue was no wi-fi signal in the house but we were able to get one on the front porch. I'd highly recommend the Bunkhouse to anyone wanting easy access to hiking or other mountain activities.

Perfect for visiting the national park.

  • 5 of 5

The Bunkhouse was a perfect fit for the two of us and a great location for visiting the Desert Museum and hiking through the Saguaro National Park: it is right on the edge of the park and you drive through the park to get to the guest house. Although an older "single wide" it is very clean and bright inside with lots of windows and plenty of storage space. There is a nice deck for sitting outside, surrounded by a beautiful cactus garden and citrus trees.

Just what we were looking for.

  • 5 of 5

We wanted a comfortable place outside of the city to relax and enjoy the area, this was just what we wanted. The Bunkhouse was just right for the two of us. It was so nice to come back to from our sightseeing each day. The front porch was a nice place to relax and the landscaping was beautiful. Lots of bunnies, quail and even a coyote came by. It had everything we needed.

Lou and Ozzie are great. I got up one morning, went outside and on the porch they had left us a nice bottle of sparkling wine and a nice card, as we were spending our 45th wedding anniversary there. I wouldn't hesitate to come back again.
