Just what we were looking for.

  • 5 of 5

We wanted a comfortable place outside of the city to relax and enjoy the area, this was just what we wanted. The Bunkhouse was just right for the two of us. It was so nice to come back to from our sightseeing each day. The front porch was a nice place to relax and the landscaping was beautiful. Lots of bunnies, quail and even a coyote came by. It had everything we needed.

Lou and Ozzie are great. I got up one morning, went outside and on the porch they had left us a nice bottle of sparkling wine and a nice card, as we were spending our 45th wedding anniversary there. I wouldn't hesitate to come back again.

Perfect off the beaten path way to experience Tuscon and at a great price!

  • 5 of 5

Close to Old Tuscon Movie Studio, surrounded by Saguaro National Park with lots of photo and hiking opportunities, and in a well manicured lot tucked away off the highway. Our only complaints were spotty WiFi and mosquitos at dusk. Great value for your stay in a beautiful location.

Serene desert get a way in a great location for touring

  • 5 of 5

Beautiful property. It was very clean and furnished with everything one would need. The hosts were very helpful with any requests. It was so relaxing, we spent more time just chilling out at the bunkhouse than we originally planned. We hope to return in the future.

Perfect for Nature Access

  • 5 of 5

We looked for a place near the national park and close to wildlife and hiking trails and this place was perfect. It is secluded and private. The yard is maintained like a botanical desert garden - just beautiful. The 'bunkhouse' is cozy, clean and comfortable with a wonderful front porch. Access to restaurants, stores and I-10 was only 10-15 minutes away. Lou and Ozzie are wonderful hosts. We would definitely return.

beautiful!

  • 5 of 5

I wish I had had more time to spend just hanging out there. It was beautiful, the desert was in bloom, the orange and grapefruit trees had giant fruit on them, and it all just smelled so nice! We really enjoyed our stay and Lou and Ozzie were great hosts. I highly recommend this great little bunk house in the desert! Tucson is a huge city and it was nice to get away from the traffic and congestion, and if you're visiting Saguaro NP East or the Sonoran Desert Museum (which you really should do!), you couldn't ask for a better location.

Great little vacation home with a superb desert setting

  • 5 of 5

My daughter and I just loved the bunkhouse and the grounds surrounding it. We loved the location - out of the way but minutes to shopping and the freeway. The house was very clean and comfortable. The sofa bed has a real mattress and was very comfortable. The huge porch is delightful, especially for watching sunsets. We were lucky enough that the orange and grapefruit trees still held some delicious fruit. The adorable quails run around the property and are fun to watch. Also enjoyed our first glimpse of a roadrunner - ran right past the porch. At night the stars are unbelievably close and bright.

Lou and Ozzie are a friendly couple and will inform you of places to see and they know all the names of the beautiful trees, cactus, and other plants. I would recommend this property to anyone who loves the desert. It was very comfortable for the two of us.
