About Marilyn Masaitis

As a child the last place I visited with my Grandmother before her death was The Flume Gorge. I have always had a sentimental attachment to this beautiful White Mountains area. As I drive up to the White Mountains, I can feel the pressures of daily life melt-away. There are so many attractions on this side of the Kancamangus Highway that it was an easy decision to purchase my condo here!!!! This is my home away from home and includes a Health Club Unit Membership.

I chose this property because half of the units are lived in year round, the maintenance on the property is excellent, beautiful views when walking, close to village, skiing(Loon Mountain or Cannon Mountain very close by), cascade park, on site tennis courts and basketball courts, trash dumpters.

Clean, comfortable and inviting place to stay!

A very cozy spacious condo with a warm woodstove to curl up next to on those really cold nights after a full day of skiing, 10 minutes away Loon mountain , modern kitchen with granite counter tops, all the appliances you need and more. There is even a turkey roasting pan for your gourmet dinners and pancake griddle for your breakfast of champions! The condo fit everyone very comfortably, we found it to be so clean with plenty of towels, dishes, cups and silverware. We will definitely look forward to renting this condo again. It's a home away from home.

Comfortable Stay

Marilyn the Owner was very nice to talk too. Any questions we had she was there to answer. The Condo was comfortable for the group we had. Loon Mountain was right down the road and there is a shuttle. Unfortunately, I got the mountains mixed up and some of our group purchased tickets to Cranmore. It was an hour drive but they had fun! If we rent again in the future, I will remember Loon Mtn. Everything was good! The condo was well equipped! Thank you Marilyn for sharing your home with us!

Owner's Response: Debbie was a pleasure to talk with by phone. I felt as though I had known her because her manner was so easy and pleasant. Debbie felt a lot of pressure once she realized that she had booked the wrong side of the Kanc. Trouble was, it was about 6 days prior to ccupancy when Debbie discovered it. Since her friends had prepurchased their I keys online, they couldn't ski Loon. I was at the condo the evening of Dbbie's departure and she left the unit in excellent shape. Great Property!

We had a great experience booking with Marilyn and staying in her home. The condo was well maintained and provided what was needed for 3 couples to have an enjoyable long weekend. I would certainly recommend this rental to other friends looking to get away!

Owner's Response: I thank Kelly for all of her positive comments. I always wonder what makes a renter give only four stars when all they have to say are positive things. I have tried to anticipate our renters needs. The unit is preheated for arrival, the kitchen is well equipped and has new cabinets and granite counters. The baths have been updated this past summer with new vanities, granite counter tops and sinks, new lighting and toilets. They have also been freshly painted. The washer and dryer provide a place to reset wet clothing. The wood for the stove (ambiance only) is provided. The shuttle to Loon Mtn. is included. The health club with pool and hot tub is included. The cable TV and Internet is included. The mattresses have all been replaced and the bedding and towels are of good quality. I respond to my renters questions anytime. The unit is spotless! What more could I possibly do to have a five star review?

Clean, comfortable and great location !

The house was very clean, beds were comfortable and the kitchen is well equipped. We were 11 adults and we really enjoyed the big table to have diner all together ! The location of the house is perfect to go skiing in Loon. We recommend to use the shuttle passes left in the house, really useful. The swimming pool/hot tub is located at about 10min by car, enjoyable after a day out skiing.

The only issue we had was with the wifi. Either we didn't have the right password, either the open-wifi was really poor.

Owner's Response: I was glad to hear that Marion and her group enjoyed their stay. The shuttle passes are very convenient and save $$ on parking as well at the mountain. Marion mentions the table which is a large square that I purchased just for the reasons that she states, "conversation involves everyone". I was disappointed to hear that Marion had trouble with the WIFI. I haven't had any guest have any issue getting onto WIFI. I think the issue may have been that Marion was using the owner network which require a password and not the guests network which does not require a password. I do want to mention that the instructions for the wifi were included in the information packet that was sent to every guest. Kind regards, Marilyn

Fun for the entire family!

Beautiful place, very spacious and perfect for the kids. Also, perfect location to everything, skiing, snowmobiling trails, and ice castles. Highly recommend!!!
